No More Gas Lithium Battery Powered car
First to recommend
Description
With a name like "No More Gas" I think you get the picture. The last thing I expected though was to find out they are right here in Ohio! What a surprise. This is an all-electric, lithium battery-powered one-person car.
It can go 70+ mph on the highway.
Very curious this thing is.
Since I do not know about cars, I don't understand the statement that it it gets "45 mile range between charges". Does this mean that you can only go 45 miles? If so, perhaps this would definately work better in cities, but they don't even limit it to that, so there must be something I don't know. Not that I think fully electric cars are the sustainable answer to gas (oil is still required with electricity use), but it is an excellent way to save gas (1,000 miles on $20 of electric fuel!?!) and money and support alternative transportation means. They claim the one person capacity absolutely allows for 80% of our driving - to work and the store. I'd agree with that, plus you can use the HOV lane because it is legally "at full capacity" Sneaky!

Great idea for an animal lover. Ok, who isn't? Wouldn't we all love a bucket of frogs as a representation of our adoption of the threatened amphibian? They have been dwindling in numbers - even the ones in our backyard, so they need all the help they can get.
Choose from 91 animals (penguins, bats and bonobos, oh my).

rock vases

Description
At first I thought, "why not just use real rocks?" Then I saw the art in the replication of rocks, afterall, I do the same in my art. This is actually stoneware with splattered-on glaze. I love anything that brings nature (whether rock or not!) into the home.
The best part, they won't break the bank. Totally affordable!
Lovely, lovely gift.
Warning, this is a Japanese department store that totally took me in! (and with all my non-department store talk!)
