Oh I know your reading this with that smirking skepticism spreading across your face! Well here's why. FLEXIBILITY. Each side of the table has its own pull out leaf to create a nice combination of table surfaces on different levels. Combine two and put it on one level to make a 55" long rectangular table. Made of iroko wood and with four reversible leaves (one side white, one side beige) gives you great flexibility no matter how your space changes. And the design works with any modern or contemporary decor.
"So you can make it square or rectangular as your need changes?"
"Yes, Mom."
"Ok good. Since you can afford the table, we'll be cutting off your allowance."

Your pad needs a cool, sleek sofa for entertaining friends. This one is 93" long and can seat 3 comfortably and 4 if they're all dieting. Mine is a medium gray so it can go with any color when I need to change things up. It's comfortable and has held up well (I was initially worried it would lose it's sleek shape and start sagging). No sagging here.

Every YUB (Young Urban Bachelor) needs a "ginormous" TV. Ok maybe need is too strong a word. In any case, here's mine. Perfect for DVD watching, HD programming and Xbox 360 frag fests. Beautiful picture, nice size screen and lower cost than a plasma or lcd at the comparable screen size. I'm lovin mine...that is until it's time to upgrade :-)

These are great for a whole wall to or used as an art piece like what i've done at my place. The tiles can be arranged into different patterns and painted. Mine are a dark orange. An inexpensive way to create a cool accent wall or art piece.

Love this bowl. Even without fruit it can just act like sculpture but I do put fruit in it. It's a bowl; it's cool; nuff said.

Ever notice that most cordless phones are butt ugly and cheap looking? Not this one. It's brushed aluminum with black accents. It has features like a cellphone and lets you upload pictures to the color screen for caller id or wallpaper. It also can record ringtones from any audio device and has a full answering system. It utilizes 5.8Ghz frequency for clear calls and has a great speakerphone on the handset.

Mood lighting is essential in any space especially a bachelor pad. I use lamps from The Bakery Group. I purchased mine from a store in DC called Apartment Zero. They're not plastic but a thin polyester material wrapped around a 3 dimensional wire structure. They may look flat in the picture but they actually have a depth and volume that can't be seen when lit. Absolutely incredible looking in person. I believe Ikea has a very cheap looking version of this in their 2004 catalog.

Comfortable, classic and stylish. This is a design icon that's actually usable. Great for reading, watching tv or playing video games. Everyone that's sat in it loves it. These can range in price from $600 to thousands. It depends on the quality of reproduction, materials, construction and whether it's a licensed original or a repro.

In the metropolitan areas, most guys carry messenger bags during their commute. This is the one I use daily. It's navy blue and understated on the outside and wild orange on the inside. The interior color actually helps me find things quicker since it's so bright that everything in the bag stands out in contrast. Also has some handy pockets for an iPod with a hole for the headphone wire to snake through. Very durable and sharp but understated.

What a great name for a great service. Ever wanted to create a huge picture mural on your wall using your own graphics? Upload your picture at this site, crop it, select a size and the "rasterbated" image will be sent back to you in easily printable pdf files. Just print out all the pages and assemble it into a huge mural up to 20 meters in size. Check out some great examples that people have created using the site. Great for a cool accent wall!

When you need to get your game on, this is currently the most advanced system out there. It started slow off the block with only a few good titles. Recently, the titles have started ramping up again for the fall. This is an excellent choice if you have an HDTV and surround sound. Must have titles for this system include Call of Duty 2, Oblivion, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Dead Rising. Upcoming titles like Gears of War, Halo 3, Lost Planet and Mass Effect will keep the momentum going when the console wars go into full swing this winter.

It's not the fastest Porsche. Or the most expensive. But boy is it fun to drive!
I've had this car for several years and other than the occasional oil change (every 15k miles), it has never given me any trouble. The car seems solidly built and because of it's centrally located engine, offers a perfect rear to front balance for superb handling. It literally seems to hug the road like no other car. This is my therapy on four wheels. When I'm stressed, I put the top down and go for a drive and all is well with the world.
The design is already a classic. Even after almost a decade since it's debut, the car still turns heads and has had only small cosmetic changes with its original styling remaining intact. That's the hallmark of a classic design; it doesn't need a drastic styling change for years or even decades.
A beautiful Porsche mere mortals can afford. Best money I ever spent...

This is my fourth iPod and they get better every year. It's already been called a classic design icon. The added bonus in this version is the ability to play video even if it is in a small window. Actually comes in handy on my commute and is used everyday.

I fell in love with the Aeron chair when they got me one at the office. It was so good I bought one for home. I've had it for 7 years now and there have been no creaks, squeaks or problems whatsoever. Oh and it's darn comfortable. Every office or home needs one.

The best laptop I've ever used. Solid build, great industrial design, never crashes and easily upgradeable (I added 2GB of RAM and a 120GB drive). Also can run Windows along with Mac OSX. What's not to love?
