Hawaiian Organic Raw Honey - Volcano Island Tropical Honey

First to recommend

Description

This rare organic honey derives from a single forest of flowering Kiaewe trees on the Big Island of Hawaii. The thick, pale-white honey is unfiltered and unheated during production so that the naturally occuring enzymes and floral taste are preserved. It has a tropical taste, certified organic by QAI and named "some of the best honey in the world" by National Geographic. Mmmm.....

Description

I love, love, love this organically grown cold-pressed olive oil. This family-owned & operated orchard produces award-winning oil. They have a lovely tasting room and delicious Olive Oil flavors. Use it for salad dressings, marinades, cooking and more.

p.s. they're working on their organic certification currently.

USDA Certified Organic Macadamia Nut Oil

First to recommend

Description

I looove this mac nut oil! I use for everything including marinades, baking, etc. This oil has a high-head threshold unlike olive, flax or fish oils (also highly beneficial). I replace any recipe that calls for canola oil with this and it's great to saute with! (Stir fry anyone?) Mac Nut oil seems very hard to find in store and even more difficult to find organic. I buy mine online from Jungle Products Inc.

P.S. The "Fat Free" craze is a crock people :) Love your fats...but only the good ones...and say goodbye to trans-fat and partially hydrogenated (bad fat! bad fat!).

Honey has SOOO many nutritional and topically benefits including helping heal wounds and it's antimicrobial and hydrating so it makes a GREAT facial mask too. This is such a bargain for around $6 for a 8 oz jar. Yum!!!

TSP Organic Spices - Set for the Holidays

First to recommend

Description

tsp spices is such a cool concept. I don't know about you, but I've had some of my spice jars for at least a year or two and they are anything but fresh. To add more punch to all the baking that goes on this time of year, use fresh certified organic spices to add more flavor to your food. These spices come in cool reuseable metal tins that you can use to store a variety of things in and each packet contains exactly 1 teaspoon of spice so you can be sure all of your spices will be fresh. How cool is that?!? (via ShopGreen)
