About this list:

I use a lot of these with my clients as supplements to their routines. They are excellent, low-commitment programs that can be taken anywhere...work, business trips, home, vacation...and are a wonderful option for people who hate running.

Description
Ah the ass-whooping Russian military workout that can bring even my super fit father to grunts and muscle aches. Get a kettlebell set in the poundage that works for you and follow the DVD instructions. It is worth it.

Urban Rebounder Folding Trampoline Workout System

Description
Jumping on a trampoline doesn't feel like a workout! It brings back memories of a childhood spent in the backyard with popsicles and trampolines, doing flips and handsprings. It's a great way to get your heart rate up an sculpt some sexy legs.

Balanced Body Pilates IQ Reformer
First to recommend
Description
This well-made Pilates reformer by Balanced Body (I have their certification and think that their program is way better than STOTT) conveniently shortens and has wheels so you can easily store it! If you are like me and live in a teeny apartment (or dorm room), this can be one of the best purchases. Get the DVDs to go with it...don't try to play on it with no training.

Description
This is the best way to keep track of all the calories you burn throughout the day. It is as accurate as having your calorie burn calculated clinically with oxygen analysis. It tracks everything you do all day through 4 physiological sensors that regress into an estimated calorie burn. Incredible.
