Decorative Serving Tray | Pia the Writer Tray by iBride

2 people recommended this item

Description

I love this whimsical tray! There are several other similar styles available, including Bianca the Governess and Bernardo Conquistador, but I am most drawn to Pia the Writer. Be sure to "Take a closer look" to see the images of the other trays.

Great for serving, hanging on the wall, or placing on a vanity to hold your jewelry. So many uses for this decorative and useful piece.

Ibride, pronounced "e-breed," is created by a French family in the south of France. The archival imagery is inspired by their travels as well as their local environment. The word 'ibride' itself is a play on words meaning 'hybrid', and the pieces combine a dual purpose of serving as sturdy and functional trays, but more often they are used as decorative art to accent home decor.

Through magical imagery and intricate lattice work, iBride simultaneously creates a modern and yet nostalgic feeling. Each tray is constructed using a turn-of-the-century process. The construction process uses a high-pressure laminate with a pre-recycled wood core. The result is a functional tray that is more often used as an elegant wall hanging. Trays using these materials can be found in restaurants and cafes throughout Europe.

Spectacular HUGE Royal Copenhagen Hyacinth Macaw

Description

Yet another porcelain bird to feed my new, unhealthy fascination. Sorry for the repetitive recommendations, but really, what is there to say about porcelain birds? And what does this silly fascination say about me? Don't answer that!

This guy is bright blue, which would be a nice pop of color. Most of my other picks are white.
