Ever since I invested fifty bucks in a bike spruce up, there's nothing that I want to do more than ride my bike. There are so many great bike accessories out there so I compiled a list of my favs. Investing in a quality bike is well worth the price. You can ride your bike to work and save money on gas, parking, and the inevitable parking tickets. Plus, you have a new fun way of working out. Oh, and its carbon neutral, so you'll be looking a little greener AND thinner.

If you can afford an electric bike, this is a really good one! It is super chic looking and has an electric motor to help you up those nagging hills.

A hybrid bike is great for commuting, as well. Designed for rough mountain trails or smooth roads, it combines both a road and mountain bike to make a well formed hybrid! Road bikes are kinda scary (that hunched over, close to the road feeling never sits well with me) so I prefer one of these.

The best bike lock around! I hate fiddling with those combination locks. We have one of these and its so easy to use. Just pop it locked, then when you want to start riding again use the key to unlock it. It works easier and faster than most others - and it's made out of steel cables so nobody can cut through it.

There are a lot of bike helmets out there, but I figured this one was pretty cool looking, without standing out too much.

I know, I know. Nobody likes helmet hair, but trust me. If you're riding alongside cars you'll be so glad you sacrificed your hairdo for a safer ride.
