Options for This Page
About this list:
Ever since I invested fifty bucks in a bike spruce up, there's nothing that I want to do more than ride my bike. There are so many great bike accessories out there so I compiled a list of my favs. Investing in a quality bike is well worth the price. You can ride your bike to work and save money on gas, parking, and the inevitable parking tickets. Plus, you have a new fun way of working out. Oh, and its carbon neutral, so you'll be looking a little greener AND thinner.
Qualifications:
My bike is my favorite toy in the whole world.

Schwinn 17-Function Bike Computer

Description
Attach this to your bike to add some curiosity to your ride. It calculates the calories and fat burned, distance traveled, speed, and time. I'm kind of a gadget/health nerd so this is really exciting to me.

Description
Now you can get the awesome action shots of you doing crazy and outrageous things. Like that time you jumped off the roof into your neighbors pool... (minus the pool bit).

Delta Airzound Bike Horn
First to recommend
Description
This bike horn emits a very loud sound (similar to those pesky airhorns you hear at graduation) so that you can warn cars when you need to! It also features volume control, as well, so it's not always ear piercing. Plus, you just refill it by pumping it up with air via your bike pump.
I can't tell you how many times I've wished I had a loud horn on my bike. It's so scary to want to honk something, but have nothing!

Pyramid Deluxe Bicycle Mirror with Reflector
First to recommend
Description
This mirror is super easy to install (it just attaches to your handlebars) and easy to use. Adjustable mirror makes it so much easier to see what's behind you then the dangerous "look back" that I often do. I really need this.

Description
Convex, unbreakable mirror face is ultra large for your viewing pleasure. And safety. Hopefully you're not too enthralled by the mirror to forget to keep you eyes on the road. A must have for any bike commuter.

CamelBak

Description
Great for biking or hiking! Camelbak makes hydration as easy as breathing (almost) with their comfortable water-holding backpacks. I use mine on hikes or long bike rides, or even if I'm going to an all day outdoors event where I don't want to carry my Klean Kanteen around.

YAKKAY - Bicycle Helmet

Description
These helmets are pretty awesome. For those of you who refuse to wear helmets because they look "dorky", these may solve your fashion vs. safety dilemma. They are helmets with a normal hat cover. Sure, they're still a little bulky but they do look way better than those normal helmets. And, you're skull will be happy and protected. Check them out! They come in a variety of colors and styles.

Cycloc
2 people recommended this item
Description
This is by far the coolest bike hanging gadget I've ever seen. Perfect to save space in your studio apartment or your garage. Just mount the cycloc to the wall with it's 3 anchors, and it will hold your bike space-free that easily. It won't scratch your beloved because it comes with softgel pads to attach to the Cycloc. And, for added security you can slip your bike lock through the top and around your precious, keeping it in place in case there's a middle of the night earthquake or something like that. PLUS, the black Cycloc is made with recycled plastic! So order the black one! And, you can store your gloves of whatever inside the cycloc's cubby.
