Getting the Royal Treatment - a list by hanahula

Options for This Page

About this list:

It's hard to imagine wearing a wool coat or even a sweater during these warm weather days, but if you pick up a July issue of just about any design magazine you will see fur and wool and tweed along with deep hues of purple, emerald, ruby and sapphire. After a skin-baring summer, we are going to be getting a bit more royal for fall and winter. Although we may have fewer hours of daylight here in the Northern Hemispere, an infusion of luminous accessories may help keep the doldrums at bay.

Qualifications:

No royal blood, but lots of royal taste.

Red Diamonds Neckpiece by Michelle Jank

First to recommend

Description

I'm not sure that I've ever seen a real red diamond, but, then, this necklace isn't really about reality anyway. Big and bold and fantasy-driven, this neckpiece is made to be worn with a little wink and a lot of irony. Who needs a right-hand ring ?!

Debut: Women's Necklace by Experiment 101 - Esha for Poonam Soni

First to recommend

Description

Inspired by industrial design, this line of jewelry actually looks like a fabulous flea market find once worn by an heiress. The hand-cut stones shine even more brightly against the metal hardware, creating a unique high-low mix not unlike that of Justin Giunta. Combined with a tartan skirt, you are rocking the fall season.
