Dell Latitude D410

First to recommend

Description

Basic solid road warrior notebook. Lightweight (the CD/DVD unit is e.d. separate). This notebook hasn't failed me yet and I bring it with me on trips all over the world. The IT guys of my company stuffed it with additional memory, which makes it completely up to date. Dell replaced this model with the D430.

Olympus WS-300M Digital Voice Recorder

First to recommend

Description

Slim, attractive, and highly functional, packs 256 MB of internal flash memory into its lightweight housing, letting you record up to 68 hours of high-quality audio in WMA format. I have done quite some research on voice recorders and this one has by far the best value for money and the best options.

Parker Jotter Stainless Steel Pen

Description

Very nice, cheap and simple pen that never fails me, even in extreme conditions. The stainless steel surface and the shape are very comfortable in my hand. I have a dozen of them, because I tend to lose them. I also have a few red (plastic) ones to separate the blue ink from the red ink ones.
