OILILY Orange Stripes Perfume
First to recommend
Description
Its getting harder and harder to find.
I think this is actually made for children, but I fell in love with the crisp fresh scent of sweet orange. Light and bright, never overpowering.
Get it while you can. This one found on eBay.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion from Clinique
First to recommend
Description
This one is a no-brainer.
It's called dramatically different for a reason. Non-greasy light-as-air lotion absorbs quickly, great for most skin types and doesn't irritate eyes.
According to Clinique, a bottle of dramatically different lotion is sold every minute. That's a lot of lotion.

Jessica Nail Polish LA LA Land
First to recommend
Description
I have tried Essie and OPI, but my favorite everyday touch-of-pink polish is from Jessica.
LA LA Land.
I know, I am from the east coast and the name is a betrayal, but I gotta paint my nails 'cause I cant afford weekly manis and pedis :)

The New MAX Factor: Lash Perfection Mascara
4 people recommended this item
Description
Why spend a lot on mascara when you are supposed to throw it out every three months for hygenic reasons.
Also, I always find the more expensive mascara irritates my sensitive eyes. I am also a contact lens wearer so my eyes are doubly sensitive.
I love this mascara from Max Factor. It even comes in a deep blue which looks black when applied but gives green and blue eyes a little extra sparkle.

Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eye Shadow - No. 45 Safari

Description
I have trouble with eyeshadow. Unless its a neutral very close to my natural skin tone - I look like a clown. And clowns are scary.
My usual arsenal contains a tin of Stila Kitten and nothing else.
This year I wanted something different. So I tried one of this seasons eye shadows by Chanel: No. 45 Safari.
I find just a tiny swipe of this brown-ish, shimmer-shadow on top lids, finished with mascara (no eyeliner) looks modern, and different than my usual boring neutrals - and looks far from clownish.
I do envy ladies who can try the latest jewel-tones, but we all must realize our limitations.

IPKN Eau de Luxury Perfume Twoway cake SPF 25 PA++

Description
I noticed this in a promotional email from neobeauty.
What is it? Is it cover-up? Is it perfume? Its is sunblock?
Whatever it is - it is intriguing. Their mention of nanotechnology has me hooked.
Any have the scoop? I am awaiting your answer with baited breath.

Paul & Joe Make Up Remover
First to recommend
Description
Sometimes I hate Sephora.
They bring great new beauty lines to the masses.... and then, after six months to a year, drop them like so much fashion trash.
I have lost access to many favorite products because there is no way to buy them. Like Anna Sui comsetics and this great little number from Paul & Joe.
This eye makeup remover is almost like a moisturizing lotion. Gentle and effective, not thick like a cold cream and not oily like a liquid eye makeup remover. Also, my face doesnt feel too oily or too dry after I use it. Even with contacts and sensitive eyes, it works well without making my eyes red and irritated. Lest I forget to mention the adorable shabby chic style packaging which is perfect for atop a vanity.
Now if only I could find someplace to buy more when I run out. Sorry Sephora, you dropped the ball on this one.

Three-Piece Elastic Pony Set fron Juicy Couture

Description
I love the Lilly Pulitzer-esque palette of this pony set.
A little too preppy for me, also my hair is really short so I can't make any use of these. But they got honorable mention for cuteness.

who's the fairest mirror

Description
Its funny carolineoncrack recommended this since I bought it a few years ago at Anthropologie.
It didnt go with the shabby chic bedroom I had at the time, but I put it in storage. It is a bit pricy at $148 for a mirror, but like most things at Anthro, you really won't find it anyplace else.
It is functional as well as pretty; the mirror is double sided and swivels, one side magnifys for makeup application or eyebrow maintenenance.
It matches my new bedroom with brown walls, and acorn colored wood furniture from West Elm. Just have to find a matching jewelry box and earring holder to replace the rest of my shabby chic booty...
