Carry Baby in Style with Red Castle Sport

First to recommend

Description

Designed for newborns up to 24 pounds, the Red Castle Baby Carrier is extremely comfortable and versatile — the sliding pouch enables you to change baby’s position without having to remove him from the carrier. Depending on your activity, you can wear baby facing forward or towards you, directly in front of you or slightly off center or on your hips. You can even nurse discreetly, using the large head support for additional privacy. There’s not much more you could ask for in a carrier.

The sporty look makes it a favorite among dads, especially those with a little gut—the waist belt can be adjusted to fit up to a 50-inch waist! Think we just found the perfect Father’s Day gift for that new Dad.

Stash and Dram Flip Flops Do Double Duty on the Beach

First to recommend

Description

What: Reef ”Stash“ and ”Dram“ flip flops for cards, cash and booze.

Why: If you are looking forward to beach days but like to travel light (and hide your snack bar money) then the ”Stash“ sandal from Reef is for you. With a pull-out tray in the heel big enough for keys, cash and credit cards, there’s no worry about theivery or just plain stupidity when you realize you’ve dropped your keys into the sand. Good luck finding them.

Meantime, the ”Dram“ sandal (just for men) has a little removable mini canteen in the heel with enough room for a shot ‘o liquor - or mouthwash I guess. Both are cool looking, durable and SO this summer.

Father’s Day Find: Hand-Blended Fragrances for Him

First to recommend

Description

What: Fresh Scents by Terri

Why: Hurrah! My husband finally used the last drop of the cologne he’s been working on for over a decade. I like the scent on him, but frankly I was thrilled when we tossed the bottle in the recycling bin.

I was even more thrilled to avoid the department store and try the two men’s fragrances from Fresh Scents by Terri. I’d read about her women’s fragrances in magazines like In Touch and knew that the scents she created had a bit of a celebrity following. But would my man like My Man or would he prefer Gregory?

The site describes My Man as “Sexy, Masculine, Fresh,” a blend of musks and bergamot. Gregory is a “Rugged and Sexy” blend featuring patchouli and ylang ylang. My vote was for My Man because I really like musks. He went for Gregory. Then, knock me over with a feather, he LAYERED the two! It was the perfect mix of clean and sexy.

We both liked the simple, elegant bottles. Another plus - each scent has a companion shower gel and moisturizer. Looks like he found his scent for the next decade.
