Fauna Kuma Bear - Arrow

First to recommend

Description

Fauna's animalistic tendencies spring to life with his latest organic cotton Kuma Bear. These soon-to-be collectibles can nestle snug against your classic heirloom teddy bear in its glass case. But don't put them away now! Leave them out for admiration of Warholian color vibrance and hand sewn craftsmanship. Feel free to pet-name, but their given names are Zig, Zag, Cedar, Feather, Dot and Arrow which in my opinion, pretty accurately describe their personality and print. The Fauna Kuma Bear is available here at Design Public. (via Design Public)

jefdesigns Home Bubbles Pillows

First to recommend

Description

There is something mysterious about the Octopus-like creature that stares at you from the corner of jefdesigns Home Bubble Pillow. Look closer and you'll realize it's a knot in a faux wood printed pillow.
Joe Futschik, founder of jefdesigns runs his ongoing sea anemone series now upon eco-friendly, kapok filled cushions. His taste for nature's complexity, such as the grace of an abstract sea specimen, is now set within an optically illusive, wood grain print. He shows that us that it's not always necessary to chop down a tree to enjoy the beauty of fine wood grain. Instead you can trick your senses into eco-consciousness. jefdesigns Bubble Pillow is available exclusively here at Design Public. (via Design Public)

Amenity Trail Table Runner - Cream & Silver

First to recommend

Description

It is official...the holidays are upon. Time to start thinking about big meals and fancy tables. I prefer the simple route...i.e. a clean Amenity table runner or placemats or maybe just napkins. (via Design Public)

Wallter Slat Rack

First to recommend

5 people recommended this item

Description

For some reason the Wallter Slat Rack reminds me of a picketed fence. But this fruit falls far from the tree of the traditional American dream home. The Wallter Slat Rack is a play on Wallter's popular wall applications, which are intended for just decorative use. But the Slat Rack is functional, so you can achieve the same aesthetic with practical benefits. The wide grooves and elongated shelf holds magazines, umbrellas, bills and jackets all in one place. Why not make something as simple as a coat rack, a bigger deal than a mere hook in the wall? New design should marry form and function, and challenge traditional concepts of what constitutes art. I believe the Wallter Slat Rack does just that. The Slat Rack comes in Brown, Green, Orange and White, and to no one's great surprise, this great design piece can be found right here at Design Public. (via Design Public)

Alexander Girard PLYprint - Madonna

Description

There is no doubt that Alexander Girard graphics are iconic. For the first time since 1972, several of his prints are now available as wall art. Yes, you heard me right. The PLYprint® panels are printed using water-based inks on Columbia Forest Products US made, formaldehyde-free plywood panels. What a fabulous gift for Alexander Girard admirers, or art collectors, or simply those who appreciate the mix between modern materials and and folk art forms to create accessible art. Q Collection Junior Celestial Parade Crib Set - Roxy

First to recommend

Description

To round out their already amazing eco friendly baby furniture, Q Collection Junior has now added 100% organic crib sets to the mix. The patterns of their new bedding line are soft and simple, perfect to keep your nursery free of clutter and chaos. If you are looking for something that doesn’t scream “baby” the Galileo print is the way to go. Or, if you want to a “touch of kid” without going overboard, the Elephant Parade print does just that. As with all Q Collection pieces, every effort is made to insure that all of their products are free of toxic chemicals so your baby is surrounded by nothing but the healthiest of environments.
