Q-Tech - a list by nanashi

About this list:
No, I do not understand the name of this list either. I remember I was going to write something like "Cute-Tech" for, of course, cute Technology, but then I realized it sounded like "Q-Tip" which everyone knows is the brand name of a cotton-swab on a stick... but I digress. I can tell you, however, the nature of this list: that these are technology-related items that I think are remarkable in function or design.

Boosted Artist Series Tin Can Speakers

Description
I love my music. But I hate my earbuds. Ever since I got my iPod ive wanted some speakers so that i could blast my music without blasted my ear drums. But, being me, I had to have PRETTY speakers that were CHEAP. This was hard to find. These Boosted tin can speakers are fantastic: they look like crushed tin cans and were decorated by graffiti artists MINT & SERF. With only 400 being made and each set of speakers being a piece of functional affordable art, id be rushing to get my hands on them. (via Urban Outfitters)

The Yone x Cheki Original Box

Description
Do you remember the days when instant cameras meant having an instant print of the picture you just took in a crappy square format instead of an instant- when printed, boringly exact replica of the subject which you are capturing? No, me neither. But you can recreate these memories with this new instant (polaroid) camera from lomography and Fuji. Beautifully designed, it LOOKS like a modern digital camera! It gets better, though, with the box in which it comes being designed by graffiti artist Fafi! With a number of features you'd think too advanced for a polaroid camera, you'll be wishing for instant photography the old-fashioned way this year! (via Lomography)

How many people does it take to screw in a light bulb? One, but millions more will want to admire it! Okay, that was a bad joke, but this gorgeous lightbulb is a true masterpiece. It appears to be anging upside down, but this 30W electric bulb is designed just perfectly. A stunning conversation piece... if only the bulb was fluorescent... (via PingMag)

Franck Muller Long Island Crazy Hours Watch
First to recommend
Description
It always seems to be a quick glance at your watch and you're on the go! No matter if the watch is a rolex or of the Rice Krispies variety. However, this watch takes time into it's own hands (get it "time" and "hands") and has placed the numbers in random order around the face of the clock. Every time the hour changes, the hour hand jumps around the clock to the correct time, while the minute hand funtions as usual. This design is certainly one of the most creative I have seen in a long time, and maybe Frank Muller can help you appreciate time as you should, cause its two minutes for looking so good! iPod Boombox

Description
Every thing seems to be getting bigger. Products, I mean. Sun glasses, bags, iPods, cell phones, you name it! This super coll iPod boombox fits the trend! It plays your iPod music, the (good ol' fashioned) radio as well as having a microphone plug! Just imagine rolling onto the beach this summer, carring this thing and blasting your beats wherever you go........ but, i recommend you don't use terms like "rolling onto" or at any point in time using the term "beats" to describe your music.

Sonicum speaker system

Description
I love speakers. For some reason they seem to have been redisgned by a million brilliant artists and companies but they do not ever seem to become boring. These adorable speakers (and subwoofer), that connect beautifully to your computer, iPod and anything else else that might need a little sound boost, are shaped like the volume sign that is practically universal to all computers. Awesome.
