Q-Tech - a list by nanashi

About this list:

No, I do not understand the name of this list either. I remember I was going to write something like "Cute-Tech" for, of course, cute Technology, but then I realized it sounded like "Q-Tip" which everyone knows is the brand name of a cotton-swab on a stick... but I digress. I can tell you, however, the nature of this list: that these are technology-related items that I think are remarkable in function or design.

Qualifications:

I am a moron who'd would buy a computer if it looked cool

Early Plug - Wooden iPod Mini Speaker With Integral Pencil Sharpener

First to recommend

Description

This product is exactly what it sounds like: a very small iPod speaker that also functions as a pencil sharpener. In case you are listening to music and suddenly remember that your pencil... hell, there is no way to explain a possible situation in which this item is essential. None the less, this sharpener/speaker is cute, fun and so worth the indulgence.

Phonofone II - Limited Edition Black

4 people recommended this item

Description

By now I'm sure everyone has gotten used to the pure, pristine look of the Phonophone II showing up in magazines across the world. So, naturally some of you might be surprised to learn that it has undergone a make-over. Usually in a timeless white, the Phonophone has been designed in black for a limited time! Why? Because (silly) black goes with everything! So, if you've held off on getting this unique, powerless (as in it uses no power except that which plays your iPod or mp3 through it's earbuds) piece of technology because it doesn't match your decor, I suppose now you have no excuse!

iPod Lego Mini Speakers

16 people recommended this item

Description

How much would it suck if you had this speaker and dropped it into a huge pail of real Legos? Still, super cute, and a great idea if you don't have a lot of Legos already. I have to wonder if it would hurt as much to step on this speaker as it does to step on real Legos...
