Baby Skull Ring in 14K Gold and Silver by michellechangjewelry
First to recommend
Description
This ring was one of those items that I had to have the second I saw it. I had been searching for small stacking rings for days and had found many I really liked.
And then baby skull appeared in my vision.
I got mine without the diamond eyes, and it also comes in all gold or all silver. It is the sweetest thing.

Akawelle Jewelry ~ Handmade African Jewelry from Bullets
First to recommend
Description
I love art pieces with a story, and ~boy~ do these necklaces come with serious history. Each pendant is crafted from a bullet fired during the Liberian civil war, transformed into a thing of beauty.
Even if you don't buy a piece, check out the website. Akawelle jewelry was conceived by a 16-year-old former refugee who uses the proceeds from the sale of her work to help others.

hoolala :: Let Them Eat Cake Marie Antoinette Large Silver Charm Necklace from Hoolala
First to recommend
Description
Marie Antoinette may never have uttered the words "Let them eat cake" but my beloved Freddie Mercury definitely did when he sang one of my favorite songs, "Killer Queen" with the fabulously popular rock group Queen in the 70s.
Hoolala charms me again with another creation, so I had to share.

Carefully selected materials and creative design are the halllmarks of DJ Strang's fabulous jewelry line. I love the elegant way the silver strand offsets the longer tanzanite rondell beads. (via Etsy)

Rae's Creations are immaculately put together, and this bracelet is a particular favorite of mine. The flash of the labradorite stones she chose for the double strand are simply perfect with the sterling Hill Tribe flower. (via Rae's Creations)

Description
These origami-formed silver jewelry pieces captivate me on so many levels. From the "cootie-catchers" and cranes I learned to make as a kid, to the ninja stars, these unique scupltures capture my fancy. I'm especially partial to the "honu," or turtle, which happens to be my favorite animal. (via Handmade by Hapa)

Description
I'm smitten with the weathered look of this sterling silver wire ring with amazonite beads fashioned into the shape of a mini bird's nest. If you prefer a polished silver look or pearls, Starry Designs sells these as well, with several options for the "egg" colors. (via Starry Designs)

Hoolala :: Deliciously Dark Absinthe Earrings & Envy Hair Pins

Description
Moulin Rouge is my favorite movie, and these Absinthe earrings are so sweet. Alas, the Green Fairy and I are on the outs, and I had to settle for the Envy bobby pins. Score another one for sobriety. (via Hoolala's Etsy Shop)
