NARS Cream Blush in Gold Member

Description
this is actually a beautiful, shimmery gold blush. much more shimmery than it appears online. i'm believing that they haven't yet figured out a way to photograph cosmetics in such a way that their true beauty stands out online, which is a bit of a shame. because this is stunning in person. but you can mouse over it for one of those close-ups they do.

Make Up For Ever Kohl Pencil: Eyeliner

Description
i was always a liquid eyeliner user, and then i got this pencil for free through that sephora beauty insider thingy. and this pencil has all the advantages of liquid - it goes on smooth, the color is intense, what's not to love?

Benefit Cosmetics Silky-Finish Lipstick - Frenched
First to recommend
Description
i am a lipstick convert.
i might actually have decided that i'm over lip gloss. i have never found one that moisturized very well, without feeling sticky and overwhelming, and it just slides right off over balm. glossy chapped lips does not a good look equal.
so i've become a convert for real lipstick. and i decided, if i'm gonna do old-fashioned lipstick, i'm gonna do old-fashioned, daring, notice me now red. and benefit makes the softest, evenest, smoothest, yes, even silkiest i've ever tried. and frenched is redder than red.

bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation in warm tan
First to recommend
Description
if you're like me, picking out a foundation that matches your skin is a problem. you know, the stores and make up counters have a color spectrum that goes ivory, peachy, and olive. and then, maybe one or two colors called mahogany or ebony or sable. and you see lots of girls with skin tones like yours, and you wonder why no one's making a make up for you.
that said, bareminerals is a godsend. and very much in demand. warm tan consistently sells out at stockists. it's generally, in my experience, not to be found in stores, and is constantly out of stock on sephora.com. so i say get it where you can, when you can.
o, and i find that bareminerals is fantastic on my sensitive, break-out prone skin. not too heavy, quick and easy to apply, and in my opinion helps minimize the severity of break outs.
