K-9 Bluelite

First to recommend

Description

K-9 Bluelite can best be described as "Gatorade for Dogs".

This is a powdered product that you add to your dog's drinking water to help them quickly replenish electrolytes lost by training in hot and humid weather. Bluelite helps to rehydrate your dog more quickly and more efficiently than just by offering water alone.

If you train hard for dog sports or with your working dog, you should keep this at hand.

Bio-Tac DermaCare

First to recommend

Description

Bio-Tac makes a great line of K-9 products to clean kennels, eliminate odors and keep dogs healthy and comfortable. Their DermaCare spray is one of those products.

The Bio-Tac advertising on Elite K-9's website sums it up pretty well - Derma Care is a clinically developed and tested product designed to sooth dry skin and promote healing of moist pyo-traumatic dermatitis (also known as "hot spots"). Once applied, it begins to relieve the associated itch and spread of lesions. Eliminates odors caused by bacteria, fungus, necrotic tissue and more!

Tuf-Foot

First to recommend

Description

Many dogs have tender paw pads that can tear or split easily on rough terrain. My girl had the most problems with her pads at the local off-leash park, which is covered in a gravel-like surface. This left us with two options: be very limited in where we can work off-leash, or find a solution for tender paws. Tuf-Foot is that solution.

Tuf-Foot is a foot care product guaranteed to toughen and protect soft, sore and tender feet and paws. Recommended by veterinarians and trainers for 70 years, hunters and athletes praise the product for dog paws and pads.

FastFax Card

First to recommend

Description

The FastFax Card is a short, handy guide to canine (dog) first aid that can be kept anywhere - hanging up in your first aid cabinet at home, stuffed in a bag while traveling, etc.

The FastFax Card's front side includes common injuries along with how to treat them, while the back side includes common types of poisoning that dogs may be exposed to and how to treat those.

Also includes basic information such as a dog's normal body temperature, suggestions for building a canine first aid cabinet at home, and numbers for poison control. (via Elite K9 Military & Working Dog Equipment)
