Description

It shames me to say this but LA has worn me down and I have embraced Uggs. I have a really old pair that I won't throw away and I have a pair of EMU boots that look just like Uggs. I tell people that I only wear them inside the house but guess that ... that's a lie. I totally wear them out and about when I am shopping on the weekend. Slap me with shame, I deserve it.

What can I say about crocs that hasn't already been said about them (at least by my group of friends) but I can't stand them. These definitely make my list of ugly shoes. Well I can say one positive thing about them ... they look cute on kids.

There was once a time when I wanted a pair of Dr. Martins sooo bad. There was little freaky little store in Fair Oaks Mall (the only mall nearby at the time) that sold these. They were too expensive so I couldn't get them. I think my parents could have afforded them, they just didnt want me to fall victim to fugly shoes.

I just burst into a fit of hysterical laughter when I saw these shoes on Zappos. I wanted these so bad, like sooo bad. My parents bought me a pair from KMart, yes Kmart. They were fake (duh) I guess no one noticed -- well I probably got taunted mercilessly behind my back but now looking back, I totally deserved it.

I can honestly have permanently deformed feet because of these darn shoes and I am sure there are many other 80's babies that do too. My favorite part about these shoes was the fact that rocks got stuck in their little high heels. But here is the thing with these shoes ... little girls wore them to look grown up. TODAY grown adults wear them, do we really want to look like we are five again? C'mon now, get with the program.

SKECHERS High Heel Sneaker

Description

High heel and sneaker -- they are like oil and water, they just don't mix. Sneakers are for running and doing sports, something you can't do in heels. I have horrible memories of high heel sneakers as I had a pair of chunky heel beige ones <<shudder>> don't make me re-live it.

I am not kidding when I see people wearing these I want to push them, thank goodness I don't or I would be in some serious trouble but still. My stars these are ugly and dangerous ... you could twist an ankle in something that foamy and high.
