I know this dress is covered in bows and frills, but that's what I love about it. think I'd get in made in a pink and white gingham (or maybe a black and white gingham with black lace). It looks perfect for summer and very very cute! And it'll fit, that perhaps more than anything else is the best of all.

I love brand, but sadly I'm not a ninety pound japanese girl which means I'm always squeezing into brand. Some days it's nice to have something made to fit me. Some people might not like f+f, but I have some of their cotton items that they have done and they are sturdy and well constructed. And this jumper is adorable, and a good wardrobe basic.

Three Fourths Sleeve Ruffle Dress

It's raining outside right now and while part of me really likes that (yay! no super heat) the other part of me see the weather and thinks of autumn and then it thinks of this dress. I'm not sure which color I like best, the wine, the brown or the olive, but either which way the dress is pretty and wants to be worn as I curl up and read a book on a crisp autumn day.

You know what I love about this boot? The fact that it's going to fit calves of variable widths, the fact that it has a low heel that is still cute, the fact that it has corset lacing up the side? Yeah, all of those and more. Shiny black or cordovan make me smile as I look at this basic black boots that aren't basic at all...in fact they have a bit of hidden fun. Allowing your classic black boots to have a little spice.

One of the things I adore about Tarina Tarantino is that she takes old fashioned items (roses, fleur de lis, cameos) are remixes them with lucite and bright colors to make those items more casual and more ready to be worn everyday. These earring personify that, pink lucite fleur de lis made even sweeter.

I don't know when it happened. I was a classic lolita, I really was. There were days I thought Victorian Maiden was almost too sweet, I liked the greys and browns and navy blues. Don't know when the shift happened, though I'd imagine it was gradual, classic floral to sweeter floral to sweeter patterns to know where I look at this jsk in baby pink covered in ice cream sundaes and it's everything I think is adorable.

Though my scent is lavender, roses do have a certain appeal...especially when they are on jewelry. These carved rose drop earrings would look perfect on my ears when my hair is up. And while I know I could rock them casual style, I think I could get away with them as going out earrings too!
