Lotta Jansdotter Tang Wool Tote in Gray
First to recommend
Description
I have to confess, all the new Lotta Jansdotter bags, baby items, table linens, and calendars got me in a bit of tizzy last night. We discussed her pieces in our office yesterday and after our I have to confess, all the new Lotta Jansdotter bags, baby items, table linens, and calendars got me in a bit of tizzy last night. We discussed her pieces in our office yesterday and after our discussion I couldn’t stop thinking about them. On my walk home I kept trying to rationalize why I need to get a Tang wool tote and a Redig linen messenger bag and a Chick wool zipper bag and a Redig Square Cross apron and a 2008 fabric calendar. Then I thought of my sister’s soon to be new baby who will need new clothes, especially an Elephant Romper and Beany. Then I thought of all the other people who I know would LOVE one of her items for the holidays. When I got home I went straight for the computer ready to make a big purchase, but then I told myself, “Ali, you need to calm down, take a deep breath, and sleep on it before you spend all your money.” Aamazingly, that is what I did. Watch out though, today could be a heavy spending day! (via Design Public)

Thomas Paul Tote

Description
What do the words "Thomas Paul" and "tote bag" do to a gal like me? Cause heart palpitations. When I first heard that we were going to add his totes to our site, I seriously got that nervous shopping anxiety feeling where you just can’t wait any longer and want it now (I sound like an impatient little monster, but you know what I mean). I am a sucker for good totes and have been on the hunt for something new to cart all of my gear around. With the arrival of his totes it was like the heavens parted and said, “Ali, Thomas Paul Totes were made just for you!” Ok, so it may not have been that dramatic, but pretty close. Thank you, Thomas Paul. Thank you. (via Design Public)

Flowie Garden Love Dumpling Bag - Dusty Blue
First to recommend
Description
I am so incredibly impressed with what textile designer Yaling Hou of Flowie has created. Her hand screen printed designs are beautiful and her fabric selections make me drool (big time). I typically am pretty picky about patterns and fabric, but I can’t find a single item in her collection that I don’t thoroughly enjoy. My favorite is the Dumpling Bag...what shape! I just need some chocolate, a glass of wine, a chick flick, new shoes and a Flowie bag and I am girlie heaven. (via Design Public)

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack - Moon Over Macau
First to recommend
Description
Backyard mud pie parties. Cowboy boots paired with a princess dress. Wearing three different outfits all at once, because you just can't decide! Big brother's hand-me-downs dressed up with a pink sash. It's not exactly the essence of style, but it is without a doubt the inspiration behind Petunia Pickle Bottom's amazing collection of daringly fashionable diaper bags. (via Design Public)

jefdesigns Home Bubbles Pillows

Description
There is something mysterious about the Octopus-like creature that stares at you from the corner of jefdesigns Home Bubble Pillow. Look closer and you'll realize it's a knot in a faux wood printed pillow.
Joe Futschik, founder of jefdesigns runs his ongoing sea anemone series now upon eco-friendly, kapok filled cushions. His taste for nature's complexity, such as the grace of an abstract sea specimen, is now set within an optically illusive, wood grain print. He shows that us that it's not always necessary to chop down a tree to enjoy the beauty of fine wood grain. Instead you can trick your senses into eco-consciousness. jefdesigns Bubble Pillow is available exclusively here at Design Public. (via Design Public)

Thomas Paul Parrot Tote
First to recommend
Description
The new Thomas Paul Fashion Totes are an indubitable reflection of the Designer's New York Fashion sense. He started with couture neckware in the City and later expanded his repertoire to include the pillows, lighting and rugs that make up the centerpieces of many stylish homes. Now you can take Thomas Paul away from the runway, out of the house and into the streets. His newest Parrot Tote day bag is ideal for strolling around the park, bustling around the city, or meeting a friend for lunch. The vibrant green of the parrot catches the eye and makes everyone wish they were on a tropical resort somewhere. This little piece of eccentricity can compliment a boring outfit or accentuate an already slammin' one. The soft cotton form and leather straps are friendly to carry and accessible for people of all styles, ages, creeds, etc. The Thomas Paul Parrot Tote stays true to the bird printed up front in that it speaks for itself. Of course he offers many other brilliant prints that can be found at Design Public. Good luck deciding which one to wear! (via Design Public)

upper playground Lowrider Rainbow Bag
First to recommend
Description
If there had to be one tiger masked character riding a bike with a rainbow tail graphic following behind, it would have to be a Sam Flores design from upper playground. His Lowrider Rainbow Bag has to be one of my favorite Sam Flores pieces. The color scheme with the olive, yellow, mustard and green couldn’t have been picked any better. Retro yet modern.
