Description

They've taken the pictures of biological and mechanical specimens from vintage dictionaries, and displayed them alphabetically. It doesn't mean much, and sounds kind of odd, but let me assure you, it's fly as hell.

a dictionary truly is something that can and will last a lifetime. So, you might as well get you nice one. Yeah, this might be a little overly nice. However, it'd be perfect as a gift.

I'm not alone in remembering this as one of the first books I ever really loved. It's standard reading and rereading worthy. And quite frankly, it's insulting if you don't own a copy. However, Sam Weber has given the classic novel an illustrated makeover. The result is a perfect gift for that hip intellectual friend of yours!

I just started this and it's already one of the most endearing shows I've seen. It's sort of a hybrid from a documentary, news magazine and pseudo reality show. From Chicago Public Radio host, Ira Glass explores simple (often ridiculous) American stories.

The ensemble cast in Wes Anderson's third film is beyond spectacular. It's truly amazing how such a wide range of actors can come together and be equally quirky and believable. Everyone should see this at least once. As it is part of The Criterion Collection, it's got lots of extras.
