WOW! having already fallen in love with beats from the Neptunes from N.O.R.E, to JayZ - they had been making a name for themselves and it was high time they put out an album to showcase their talents! N.E.R.D. is more than Pharell Williams, although I think he's the cutest one ;-) lol but thats besides the point, the trio, made up of Pharrell, Chad, and Shay made quite a debut with "In Search Of..." my favorites off the album are Lapdance, Brian, Provider, Bobby James, Rockstar, Run to the Sun

I remember saving my pennies and doing chores to get $15 to go to Sam Goody to get this Jay-Z album. I bought it, quickly ran home and put it in my CD player(that I had BEGGED for) and didn't leave my room the whole day. Windows up, music blaring, it was me and Jay-Z. I had never heard anything like it and I was hooked! Couldn't wait for the next CD to drop and have bought them ever since(except Kingdom Come because well, it was garbag, IMHO) either way, Jay Z rapped so fluidly that I was entranced in his word play and flow. "The monster of the doudle entendre" indeed!

Black Girl Lost, If I Ruled the world, Street Dreams - what! Those were my JAMS! I remember when I bought this CD I got it on a family trip out to stinky walmart. Not realizing it wasn't the one with the parental advisory, um all the songs were bleeped out LOL, I promptly took it back to Walmart for the real version. Sorry, I can't listen to a song if there are blanked out parts lol! So once I got the real album I could listen to it, actually listen to it and I didn't take it out of my CD player!
