Beetlejuice (1988)
7 people recommended this item
Description
Back in 1988, when I first watched Beetlejuice as a kid, it scared me because things just jumped out at you unexpectedly. Then after I watched it second time, I wasn't scared at all.
But now...whenever I watch this movie, it always made me smile. Why? I guess it has to do with my childhood. :-)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4 people recommended this item
Description
It is one of my favorite Harry Potter films because it has action, fantasy, horror, and a bit of comedy...compared to other HP films.
I would consider this as one of the better Halloween flicks... and also perfect for a movie and dinner date with your sweetheart. At least you would have an excuse to hold their hand when the scary part comes up. :-)

The Others
3 people recommended this item
Description
The Others is one of the spookiest movies I have seen. Even though when you reach the end of the film, you would want to go back to the beginning of the film to try to figure out when all of this happened to them. The director did a great job keeping us guessing. Also, it doesn't have any gross parts like other horror films do.

Garfield Holiday Celebrations DVD

Description
Wow, this DVD has brought me back great memories! I haven't seen Garfield on TV in a long time especially around Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I used to watch both Garfield and Snoopy during the holidays as a kid. Even though I still watch Snoopy on TV, I wonder why Garfield isn't on TV anymore. Garfield's movies are classics. Horror/Suspense - The Lost Boys R (MPAA) / Warner Home Video / DVD
5 people recommended this item
Description
The Lost Boys is a classic 80's vampire flick about two young boys who move to California and end up fighting a gang of teenage vampires. A several years ago I watched it for the first time (in spite of being a child of the 80s!) with my then-date, this film made me feel nostalgic because I grew up watching Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Jason Patric, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Description
Ah! I love watching this animated film as a kid, and I still do. Even though it is not like the Johnny Depp version, it's still fun to watch with your family, especially around Halloween time.
Don't forget another animated film that comes with this DVD, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Mr. Toad is hilarious to watch when he is driving.

"Everything. OK! I'll talk! In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out... But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life."

Description
this might be my favorite movie from the 80s! there's nothing like seeing bill murray and dan aykroyd in a movie together. whatever comes out of bill murray's mouth makes me giggle. this movie is a quintessential movie from the 80s - it has definitely earned it's place in american pop culture. the special effects may not be up to date but man, does it deliver!
two words: freaking hilarious.
