A sterling silver ring with a riot of glittering jet crystals spiking out in different directions. Gorgeous and a little dangerous.

Michael Zobel Bracelets

Description
Michael Zobel's bracelets use gold and stones in a very modern and eclectic way. Zobel is a German goldsmith and a designer who uses a variety of metals and stones to create elaborate wrist-hugging cuffs. Simply spectacular.

Triple Flowing Lines - Square Yellow Diamond
First to recommend
Description
Here's what a $125,000 ring looks like. The Triple Flowing Lines yellow diamond ring has a 10 carat radiant fancy yellow diamond set in platinum with additional diamonds in the setting. Other rings in the series include a cabochon emerald and and oval Burma ruby and an aquamarine and are quite a bit less pricey. (via Luxist)

Simone Coste Citrine Ring
First to recommend
Description
Gorgeous Brazilian designer Simone Coste takes a unique approach with her designs. She uses stones mined in Brazil, quartz, onyx, chrysoprase, amethyst and others and instead of merely mounting the stones in gold she uses the stone as the sculptural concept for the ring, letting the sold serve as an inner support. The effect is striking, although perhaps a tad bulky on the finger. But in a world full of designs that look increasingly similar it's refreshing to see someone step out in a new direction. The ring shown here sells at Barney's for $4,275. (via Luxist)

Temple St. Clair Zodiac Collection
First to recommend
Description
There's just something about the zodiac that makes it a timeless design option. Despite the often cheesy reputation that astrology has, high-end options for displaying one's sign abound. The latest comes from one of my favorite jewelry designers, the always elegant Temple St. Clair. Her Fall Zodiac collection includes 18K gold pendants with a satin finish and diamond granulation on the back. (via Luxist)

Treasure Rings
First to recommend
Description
Treasure Rings are a bit gimmicky perhaps but also completely unique. The ring is customized with an inscription on the inside. Each ring is made to the exact finger on which it is to be worn. You select the style, inscriptions, and gems set in a band of gold or platinum. Each one is hand-engraved and only 2000 are made each year. The flip-open style means that the band ends up being wider than most rings but the space inside offers double the usual space for engraving so you have plenty of room for freedom of expression. Prices vary according to gems and materials used.

JFA Designs Signature Fit Rings
First to recommend
Description
JFA Designs Signature Fit rings look strange but their odd squared shape serves a purpose. The rings are meant to be adjustable to accommodate changes due to weight loss or gain. The styles are pretty uniform due to the restrictions of the design but the shape is supposed to make them more comfortable than traditional rings. Consider it the very high-end version of those adjustable rings you used to get out of the bubble gum machine as a kid. (via Luxist)

Diamonds, Pearls & Coca Cola Bracelet

Description
I've seen diamonds paired with some pretty interesting materials such as ropes and shells but the jewelry from Amanda Jaron takes what most might consider trash and combines it with gold and stones. Her Diamonds, Pearls & Coca Cola bracelet combines a green Coca Cola bottle with 18K gold, freshwater pearls and diamonds to create a unique fashion statement. The bracelet sells for $1,375. Other pieces from A. Jaron include enameled pacifiers, a tennis bracelet made of a chain of angels and necklaces that feature marquise-cut briolette semiprecious crystals overlaid with a delicate filigree. (via Luxist)
