La Roux has that totally cool hair and that androgynous vibe but that's not why I love this song. It's a catchy pop track that's got a bit more meaning that most songs these days.

Livvi Franc is a Barbadian via England. Her style ranges from down to earth bluesy songs to the pop feel of Now I'm That Bitch. This song already hit #1 on the Billboard Dance chart and now she's ready for the world. It was my fave dance song of the summer!

Chrisette Michele is back and as good as ever with her sophomore album Epiphany. Epiphany debuted at #1 on Billboard and the single of the same name is doing just as well. Chrisette has real talent and real staying power in a rather fickle industry.

Pink - Funhouse

Description
So Funhouse was probably not the best name for this album but that should be the least of Pink's worries. Funhouse is yet another great album by a truly unique and talented artist. "So What" was a great song that poked fun at her divorce but it's tracks like "Sober" that go so much deeper that I really love. This album is definitely worth buying.

Shontelligence - Shontelle

Description
Recreating Rihanna's success is going to be hard but Shontelle is going to give it a try. She's not my favourite artist but there's been a lot of buzz about her debut album. I love the song "T-Shirt" and "Battle Cry" is also really catchy. The latter was written for Barack Obama's campaign. She's a great songwriter so the album can't be all bad.
