i bought this for myself for Xmas and BOY am i happy! it was also on mega-sale but -- i lusted after it for over 2 months.

it has three magnificently sewn sections with magnetic closings and handles of just the right length and the most perfect buttery leather and so so soft.

you can get everything in it -- it is heavy but oh so worth it. and the girls from GOSSIP GIRL carry this one, not that that matters!

i bought myself the renowned SONIA tote in bright red for xmas, as well as a wonderful red wallet --

the leather is butter soft and extremely well sewn & put together -- this has soft pleats and nifty hardware and of course everyone will look at you in the street and on the subway and LUST for your bag.

i only wish i were 4 years old with incredibly rich and indulgent parental figures and i would lie on the floor screaming and kicking my feet until they promised to buy me this, but you know it would never work anyway.

this is beautiful buttery soft leather and on sample sale at this very moment and absolutely worth every hard-earned dime, i suggest looking in the pocket of every coat you've worn since the 9th grade.

i bought a lot of these to use as "dance" bags when i was in fact still limping around and dancing in europe. they weigh NOTHING and i tie a couple of them in knots at the bottom of another reusable bag -- they are perfect for carrying groceries, pasta, cheeses, some fruit, baking supplies, etc. i the long handles are great. plus they're transparent so you can show off your food to your neighbors --

i would not carry more than a couple of 1/2 gallons of anything liquid nor anything with sharp edges in these.

traveling with these is also great because you can put new/ dirty/ clothes or sox or presents in them -- and they roll up and weigh ZIP.

walker also has some wonderful nylon mesh bags, CHECK THEM OUT.

this delightful bag streeeeeetches to fit its contents (lots of groceries & whatnot) and then springs back to its original small size. it moves with you as you walk. it comes in metallic & other neat colors --

AND (drum roll ...) it is made and sourced right here in the USA, to be specific in new orleans, LA -- a percentage of sales is donated to hope house there --

so this is perfect: environmental responsibility which contributes to the renewal and reconstruction of a shamefully neglected part of our country --

perfect.

even if you're an inveterate envirosax-er, these are great. slightly boxier, with longer handles, a stiffer (not as silky) material -- but strong & good for carrying those giant cartons of OJ & apple juice as well as all your groceries.

i suggest having these AND some envirosax, they're larger when rolled up but eminently useful.
