these are made of a strong polyester, similar in 'hand' to the rume or reisenthal bags, nice wide long handles, ample room inside for all your bits n' pieces -- they come in cute little square pouches for storage and fold quite flat, so they can fit easily into your other bags when you head out for the day.

nice boxy grocery bag-shaped reusable bag, made of recycled PET and quite distinctive and handsome. they come in vertical AND horizontal shapes.

the handles are thinner than i would prefer but the patterns are crisp and pretty and the more reusable bags we use and exchange, the better!

if you're going to the grocery store and you don't take these AND a couple of envirosax, i personally will have to come after you.

this is "green" (in the sense of being recycled), not that expensive, beautifully made, with a LIGHT inside so you can see what you are pawing through.

these are so stylish, finished, well-built. ordered one and got it -- dang, it really is CUSTOM-MADE and the nickel buckles are nice and shiny, guaranteed for life!

and it is not too HEAVY. request the lighter inner tubes when you order yours, and tell ken you heard about passchal from sara --

Envirosax Reusable Grocery Bags

I have other reusable grocery bags, but was bad about using them on a regular basis. These are the ones that have managed to stick. It's lame to admit, but it's probably because they're so damn cute. The colorful patterns always catch my eye and remind me to stick one in my purse. What's more, they fold up much more compactly than a canvas bag.
