About this list:
A gathering of products I really like. Ranging from fancy design stuff to daily household needs, to silly things that you don't really need but wouldn't be averse to having, no not at all.
Qualifications:

Description
An entire alphabet of oddity as expressed in tile.
R is for ruin, and N is for no man's land. Get one or two or perhaps an entire alphabet. I'd love to see these in someone's home in a wall.

Medina Baskets: French Market Basket
First to recommend
Description
Take this to the grocery store or the farmer's market and fill it up with tasty things. Or just use it to tote things to the beach. Whatever you use it for, it is a stylish and natural alternative to the plastic and mass manufactured bag.
There's something romantic about this. (via Decor8)

Description
I'd like to put links for a few items in the xkcd store, but there are no individual pages for individual items, so I'm just plopping them all down right here.
Xkcd is a brilliant comic for the nerdkind which just makes me happy. Adding to that happy are t-shirts saying things like "science, it works bitches" and "stand back, I'm going to try science"
Do you have a friend who is a geek? Well they probably read xkcd already so why not give them the "Actual Size" stickers to play with, or a map of the internet poster? They'll love you forever.

Description
Words make art. I love how my eye moves over these tumbled letters in Jonathan Haggard's prints. Wonderful organic colours and strong shapes make these appealing.
I'd get these for a friend, and then covet them myself. (via Poppy)

Battlestar Galactica - Season 2.0 (Episodes 1-10)
5 people recommended this item
Description
The second season of Battlestar Galactica is almost as awesome as the first. One of those series that you'll sit down to watch and several hours later, you're through with all the DVDs, and craving more.
Addiction is fun, sometimes.

Battlestar Galactica - Season One (2004)
11 people recommended this item
Description
This series works for fans of science fiction and fans of good television. It takes off where Star Trek Next Generation left and brings a less preachy, less moral-laden mix of action and drama. The acting is good, the SGI is good, and the plot arc works.
This is one of those series that has innumerable devoted fans who will try to lure you into watching it. Once you watch it you will join this cult-like group and find yourself recruiting your friends to watch it with you. (via Mona, Tony, Ron, James, and everyone else)

Description
I can't resist cephalopods, and this guy straddles the fence of evil and cute. The octopus cuddle pillow from Sprout Home is a bit expensive for my budget (most things are though) but I really like it. (via Poppy)

Posters: advice to sink in slowly
First to recommend
Description
"Advice to sink in slowly is a series of posters designed by recent and established graduates of University College Falmouth for the purpose of passing on advice and inspiration to first year students.
A poster is given as a welcoming gift to every first year student when they enroll."
A whole series of posters with quirky advice, "Learn and instrument", "Collaborate", "Explore and experiment."
There is also a series of postcards of these posters. These would be great for people who enjoy a creative workplace. (via Metafilter)

Etsy Seller: Matt Cipov

Description
These prints are awesome. I generally try to characterize people's art and describe it well, but I'm failing here. Just saying 'zombies' and 'people wearing animal masks' makes it sound like a whole bunch of other lesser stuff. Not to mention 'owls.'
Anyhow, this is quite worth taking a look to see the prints. Cipov has a large collection of prints, stickers, sketchbooks, drawings, and bookmarks for incredibly reasonable prices. You can get a collection of four or five small prints for less than it will cost to get some of those nice Ikea frames to hold them.

Raybowls

Description
Sometimes something simple is complexly beautiful. These mesh trays/bowls/containers are just all around good.
I've had two rectangular ones in black and white mesh respectively for years. I've kept keys in them, put random stones, and all sorts of other things and they always look elegant.
The new lime and mango colours here are bright punctuations to any house.
