I've had my eye on this item for a while now. As a person with multiple ceiling fans the pull is definitely an overlooked aspect of decor, and why wouldn't it be? It seems merely a piece of function, or so I thought until I saw this.

SPLASH BOWLS - Translucent splatter glass bowls in blue and green

These bowls are something I would love to receive as a gift. I can also imagine alternatively giving a set of these to more than one of my friends. They transcend novelty because of their beauty. But the optical illusion that occurs (the splashing effect) is just cool.
The dead-on design of these large and small bowls captures the split-second moment of something kerplunking into a liquid. The transparent colors of blue and green add to the fluid quality of these pieces. These seamless dishes are playful and refreshing, and they are perfect for holding candy or knick-knacks though not recommended for hot food use.
Created by Dylan and Amy Engler, the bowls are made through the process of kilnforming. Each bowl is handmade in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and signed by the artist. Chinoiserie Cabinet from Chelsea Accents

A beautiful piece indeed... One of my weaknesses is for Asian and Asian-styled pieces of furniture and decor. This cabinet is exquisite and would add a touch of sophistocation to most interiors. Unlike many Asian-styled pieces this one isn't overly adorned and decorated. It's actually demure by most standards. Perhaps that's why I like it.

Description
This "trophy" just cracks me up! It's something that I had, nor would had never thought of. Maybe because I actually like cats. The expression on the cat's face is priceless, and the execution of the piece is perfect. (I had to stop myself from making an extremely bad pun right there.)

A lovely mahogany-stained bedside table that wonderfully illustrates the premise of form and function combined. Although it's created as a bedside table I could easily see this table transported into the living room as a stylish recliner-side table. Apparently, fitted with safety latches and leather handles. Both are extremely nice touches.

I truly wish that I had not seen this. From the packaging to the fact that it contains one of my very favorite scents, and the fact that it has one tastefully lacquered skull with swords crossed. Exquisite to the last detail! I must have one of these diffuser sets. I only hope it doesn't break the bank.

I have champangne tastes on a beer budget. This gorgeous candle in a glass chinese pagoda vessel by DL & Company. The lid is adorned with a black tassel. I'm usually not one for such serious decoration in something so inherently simple, but this works for me, or against me when I think about the contents of my bank account. However, back to the candle. It has notes of black, white and red ginger, galangal and krachai. As always, packaged in DL & Company's signature silk hat box. You can purchase this candle from Barney's of NY at a measly $225.

Description
I think this chair would bring out my melodramatic side. I could see myself swivling around in this oversized leather lounger, cat on knee (perhaps a stuffed one, as I don't currently have a cat), hands folded... I'll have to decide what to do from there. At a cost of over 4500 pounds (God only knows what the exchange rate into dollars is), I prefer to be a bit more imaginative than what one might expect. (via suck.uk.com)

The Candle Whore Candle from A Scent of Scandal is a honeysuckly-scented candle. I couldn't resist the name. It does beg to be burned somehow. I have also become a convert to soy wax candles. They burn far cleaner than their parrafin counterparts (less soot) and seem to last longer.
All of A Scent of Scandal's candles have metal-free, 100% cotton wicks and burn for 30-35 hours. (via candledelirium.com)
