About this list:
Indulgences -while they may not be high on the NEED list, there are always some high quality treats out there that tempt us, even though our resources don't always make them easily available. These are some of my indulgences - a wide array of things that I think are well worth the investment of time and money whether you NEED them or not.
bliss lemon+sage body butter
3 people recommended this item
Description
after a sample from the lux W Hotel in New Orleans, I am hooked on this... it really feels great - hands, feet, elbows, knees, wherever you have dry skin.. just one little smear of this body butter and you'll immediately notice the difference. And I think the light fresh lemon-sage scent is wonderful - and considering I usually buy everything unscented, that's saying a lot for me.

Clarins 'Delicious' Self-Tanning Cream
7 people recommended this item
Description
This looks good enough to eat, but it is a scrumptious treat for your skin instead. I'm always a little wary of self-tanning products, but this one is great - I like the fact that it is tinted, allowing you to easily see if you have even coverage. The tan appears in a few hours - mine legs haven't seen the sun this year, but they now look nicely bronzed. Not too dark, just the right amount. You do still need to be careful around knees and ankles (or dry areas that soak up a lot of the lotion) to prevent darker spots, but that's pretty easy to do since the cream goes on tinted.
I am particularly impressed with the deep moisturizing effect - my skin hasn't felt this smooth and soft in a long time.
I'll definitely buy this again.

Emergen-C Health & Energy Water
28 people recommended this item
Description
Until this point I have not been a fan of health waters - every health water I've had before Emergen-C tasted artificial, too sweet or had an aftertaste, but not Emergen-C. What a great way to get a boost of vitamins and minerals and to hydrate your body. Emergen-C is refreshing - a great blend of fruit flavors with just the right amount of tartness and sweetness to create a wonderful balance.
I am officially a fan of Emergen-C Health and Energy Water now!

A Taste of Thai Coconut Ginger Soup Base
First to recommend
Description
Wonderfully easy and delicious - this is one of my favorite things in the world. Seriously.
If you like Tom Kha soup (coconut ginger soup often served in Thai Restaurants) give this soup base a try. Look for it in the asian section of your supermarket - it is packaged in an envelope. I can often find ithis with other "taste of thai" products in my grocery store, but when I can't I just order a dozen packs online. It really is that good. Just add coconut milk, chicken or vegetable broth, and a protein of your choice (tofu, chicken, shrimp, etc). Serve with rice for a delicious meal.
