As a side note, it's handy that I work around the corner from Anthropologie, and by some miracle I've only been in there twice since February 25th!

Retro-inspired style has a solid silk top and classic glen plaid skirt, pulled together with a slender belt. A little outside my price range, but classic, and quite possibly a good fit for my figure--which so many dresses are NOT.

Description

Beautifully detailed in fine silk twill, this wide-waisted style has soft front pleats for fullness in the skirt. Huh. Two in a row from the same designer who I've never managed to pay attention to before... also a little outside my normal price range, but classic and appropriate for my figure.

Matte jersey knit in a burst of vibrant colors, finished with a teardrop border. This one is adorable. Again, have to see what the gams look like in it. I could see be-bopping around the Promenade in this though.
