Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur
First to recommend
Description
I first heard about this liqueur from Vincenzo Marianella at Copa d'Oro. He was going to use it to make this cocktail made with Sazerac Rye, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Lemon Bitters and this dark chocolate liqueur. Unfortunately he hasn't been able to get his hands on a bottle of this stuff and I've been longing for this cocktail ever since. I like how it's described as a blend of dark chocolate and vanilla without being cloyingly sweet.

Molasses, vanilla, caramel -- all my favorite flavors that appear in this rum. Wine Enthusiast rated this 95 and it has won many gold medals. After sipping this neat, you'll be able to tell why. Or try it in a Cuba Libre cocktail. (via RumDood.com)

Woodford Reserve Bourbon

Description
Like most people I'm obsessed with bacon and a bartender I met in Seattle said that this is the best bourbon to use to create bacon-infused bourbon. Yummy!

GRAN CENTENARIO ROSANGEL TEQUILA
First to recommend
Description
I had the chance to try this unusual hibiscus-infused tequila at a cocktail competition. My fave cocktail recipe at the competition involved Nutella, steamed milk and the Rosangel, a delicious and comforting night cap. Perfect considering this tequila has a smooth finish with hints of vanila.

Absolut Mango Vodka
First to recommend
Description
I'm not a big fan of flavored vodkas but I'm excited about this one. Especially with the thought of combining it with peppers. And there's a yummy-sounding recipe for a mango lassi cocktail:
The Absolut Mango Lassi
Makes 1 drink
Ice
1 1/2 ounces Absolut Mango vodka
1 ounce whole-milk yogurt
1 ounce one-percent milk
1/2 ounce canned mango pulp (such as Ratna Alphonso brand)
1/2 ounce honey syrup (1 part honey dissolved in 1 part warm water)
2 dashes Regan's Orange Bitters
1/8 teaspoon freshly grated cinnamon
Rose water
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Absolut Mango vodka, yogurt, milk, mango pulp, honey syrup, bitters and cinnamon. Shake vigorously and strain into a highball glass. Add 1 large ice cube and top with 3 spritzes (or 1 drop) of rose water. (via Tasting Table)

Tequila 1921 Reposado

Description
I "discovered" this in a liquor store in Ensenada. I was looking to bring back a tequila that could only be found in Mexico so I asked the sales guy which one he liked and he said he'd get this one if he could afford it. And I Googled it when I got back from vacation and saw that it got a bunch of awesome reviews. It must be said that this is a tasting tequila, not for shots!

Buffalo Trace Bourbon
First to recommend
Description
I found another favorite bourbon. This one is a great price for such a great taste. I love drinking it neat and wouldn't dare mix it with anything. Wine Enthusiast rated it 93.
"Burnished gold in color, this Bourbon brings a melange of aromas to the nose: honey, vanilla, oak, toffee, and a suggestion of coriander are all there. The body is big, and on the palate, this becomes a very spicy, masculine whiskey with a complex spicy mustiness and notes of leather, tobacco, overripe oranges, and a surprising smokiness not often found in a Bourbon." -- BourbonEnthusiast.com

Martin Miller's London Dry Gin
First to recommend
Description
You'll only find this gin at high-end places like the Edison in downtown L.A. where it's served in vintage cocktails. Don't be afraid, this gin is very drinkable and tasty. Try it in a Ramos Gin Fizz or Corpse Reviver No. 2.
