Description

This is the dollhouse that started it all. manufactured by Bozart, you can't find this anywhere anymore except for those selling it on ebay. A beautiful architectural dolhouse model, this was designed by PMW architects and made for children, but the price was made for grown-ups!

Consider yourself lucky if you can find it! As a bonus, Bozarrt made wonderful odern miniatures to go inside of it! I wish I'd bought it long ago. (via pmwarchitects.com)

The level of detail and embellishment make an important statement to establish this as an heirloom. Today these premises would certainly have a licence to conduct marriages and accommodate wedding guests. Now that I've opened the door to dollhouses... This minimalist version kind of dismisses the idea of a realistic living space a little more than most, but it gives a little more regard to the open play that dollhouses are (at least in theory) designed for. Do minimal modern layouts work for kids? Your call.

My eight year old loves her new dollhouse! It is indeed large, but a good size. So very pretty too. It took a (fairly handy Daddy) about an hour to put it together. Every piece was wrapped and all there. Baby Age 's price and shipping could not be beat!!
