Lowepro - Terraclime 100

First to recommend

Description

One of the options I'm considering for my newly-purchased camera. I like the style of it; it's much more modern and hip looking than the Nikon bag that my camera came with (though the Nikon bag is perfectly functional and will do me just fine for the time being). It comes in limited colors though, so I will have a tough time deciding as the colors are a bit muted for my taste. Maybe I'll just stick to black.

Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones

4 people recommended this item

Description

Sure, they're huge. But after reading up on these headphones fairly extensively, they're at the top of my short list of headphones under consideration. I want some that cancel noise well, but also sound just as good playing my opera and classical and jazz as they do playing my r&b and hip-hop. These seem to fit the bill. The jack also fits into ipods and iphones. Bonus.

Krups NESCAFE Red Dolce Gusto - Sur La Table

First to recommend

Description

This tops my list of pod coffee makers under consideration. I have wanted a pod coffee maker for some time now, and this supposedly makes a great cup of eight varieties of hot liquid. I have seen them at Sur La Table during their demonstrations, and while I didn't get a chance to taste the hot chocolate (which I was told is very good), I was able to look at them closely and I must say they are by far the best looking pod coffee makers out there. I want a red one.

These certainly aren't going to win any style points, but I've eyed them for two or three years and have read that they really help tone your muscles. At the very least, they probably help with posture. Maybe I will take the plunge (because to be so un-cute, they sure are un-cheap!) and get a pair.

Discgear 120 Disc Stackable Faux Leather Media Organizer

First to recommend

Description

In my oh-so-noble goal to declutter and uber-organize my home, I will be purchasing one of these and throwing away all of those cd jewel cases and dvd cases. It comes with an album for all of the music and movie inserts too. And it looks nice.

With all the programming and video content available online now, I would almost consider cutting my cable and purchasing one of these. This slim console delivers iTune content to your television set and supports a host of features.

Nintendo DSi

3 people recommended this item

Description

Okay, the official website is in Japanese, but you get the point. The new DSi has been all the rage on the web for months now. I kept waffling back and forth between "I'll just get the current DS" and "I'll wait for the DSi to come out." As of last week, I had decided to just go with the current DS, figuring I don't really need all of the new features of the DSi. I can still play Brain Age and Super Mario and Guitar Hero and Personal Trainer Cooking on the current DS and be totally happy. I've changed my mind. Looks like it's not much more expensive either--around 180 bucks.

Mum Personalized Recipe Cards

Description

Lovely letterpress recipe cards. Pretty enough to laminate after you've written your recipes on them, so that they don't get ruined. And think of what nice heirlooms they'll eventually turn into!
