Description
A fun reprieve from the sugary-sweet holiday tunes. hOMe for the Holidays comes from OM Records, an electronic dance music juggernaut based out of San Francisco.
This compilation CD has the typical (as well as some unexpected) tunes, mixed, remixed and reinvented by very talented DJs!
If you like Reindeer Room, you'll love hOMe for the Holidays!
If you want to hear Sinatra and Nat King Cole head to your local mall.

Suzuki by Tosca

Description
This is my favorite album for driving or silent contemplation. The amazon.com review captures it perfectly...
Soft and sweet, subtle and supple, Tosca's tracks drift, sifting from one dream to the next. Though they patch hip-hop, jazz, ambient, and techno together, you can't hear where one begins and the other ends. "Annanas" pairs sneaky, squeaky scratching with a lusty female vocal and bossa-nova-inspired hip-hop breaks, while "Orozco" loops a playful riff, running it through reverbs and filters, creating something like pure bliss for the ears. --Tricia Romano

Emporio Armani Caffe, Vol. 2

Description
A serious compilation of amazing mixes. Incredibly difficult to classify though so easy to listen to. The mixes are inspired by world, classical, electronic and who knows what else.
I could die listening to the lead track "Sud Sound Symphony" and I wouldn't care!

Siddharta: Spirit of Buddha Bar

Description
I am a complete sucker for anything that comes out of Paris' hottest nightclubs: Buddha Bar! Siddharta is probably my favorite of all the compilations. BNM Corp's remix of a Bach classic "Bach to the future" is mesmerizing. Mikael Delta's "No One" continues to awe me, though I have heard it hundreds of times by now.
The Buddha Bar series is a kind of world - electronica fusion that is hard to describe but an absolute dream to listen to.
I don't leave the house without this on my phone, iPod or CD.

The Score

Description
Classic hip-hop / rap album that stands as strong today as it did back in 1996. Though Wyclef, Pras and Lauryn all went their separate ways, their collaboration resulted in one of the most important musical works.
Whenever I need to think of the good 'ol days growing up in NYC I put on The Score, close my eyes and it all comes back to me!
