I came to cycling late in life, but unlike the "former runners", triathletes, and casual bikers -- riding my road bike is my passion! I decided to create this list after I made a similar list about Spinning for a co-worker. But, as a true cyclist - I believe that all spinners should aspire to become cyclists and really learn what the sport has to offer. Because there's nothing quite like hammering out a 100 mile bike ride with your closest group of friends -- you talk,eat, and suffer - together. Enjoy!

This list was designed for one of my co-workers who came to me for assistance in getting prepared to attend his first Spinning class. After I hooked him up with the basic info and the right equipment, I figured there might be other people out there in cyberspace that are also interested in attending a Spin class and don't have me as a co-worker.
