The Dream Bank

First to recommend

Description

The Dream Bank is cute and creative,. These are simple shadow boxes with the ability to insert a photo or imagery of your dream product and a slot for coins so you can save up for it!

You insert the photo (I think I'll put in the Kaufmann house in Palm Springs) and then add coins until you've reached your goal..
I'm gonna need to buy over 1,000 of these!

Description

Squirrel Still life Bank
designed by studio job for royal tichelaar makkum, the still life series was introduced at milan, 2003. that year the collection was an investigation into makkum's past. studio job looked into archival forms and came up with a concept of re-inventing the decoration based on variations of undecorated, transfer decorated and hand decorated. the hand decoration usually involved the classic blue coloration. pieces chosen included a piggy bank, mantel clock, precious box, vase and candleholder.

versions in the image are (starting at 12 and going clockwise): white, handpainted, screen printed.
