Yep, this is my teakettle. Pretty awesome right?! I bought it while I was out shopping with my mom. Its hilarious. I use it twice a day and it totally makes me smile every time.

I am two things right now, 1.) on a budget and 2.) no longer a makeup snob. A few months ago my Mom got me a mineral makeup kit from Costco and I kinda fell in love with it. I ran out of the power today, so I headed to Costco to replace it. Well I had the replacement powder in my hand but then I saw this kit. I haven't worn foundation in ages but I was itching for some more coverage and I did need some new foundation AND it was $5 cheaper than the powder. Sooo ... I got it.

Its freaking fantastic!

The coverage is amazing. The look is totally natural AND I can't feel a thing, its so light weight. Basically, my face looks bangin. The end.

Today I popped into the local army surplus store and picked up a pair of these sweet boots. I am totally in love with them. They were less than $50 at the store I went to and are going to get some heavy rotation in the old closet.

I love me some food storage containers but the plastic ones can get so rank. They are easily stained and can't be used for serving. Well problem solved with these glass storage containers. I picked up this 18 pack at Costco this weekend for $30! Can wait to whip em out and get to storing some food.

Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Vacuum

I bought this vacuum cleaner today at Target today because a.) I needed a vacuum and b.) it was on sale. I figured this one was a good bet because the only thing I have to vacuum are my two new area rugs. I gave it a spin today and it worked great. No complaints so far.

I have this and I love it. The blue tone might throw you off at first but its there to make your teeth look whiter. Plus, this gloss has a mintiness about it that freshes your breath and tingles. Woo hoo.

I bought this at Target because it was on sale and I wanted a change. I used it the night I got it and truth be told, I suck at coloring my own hair. I made the streaks too wide, plus there was an earthquake happening while the dye was in my hair!! When I was finished I hated it. I contemplated wearing a wig to work. However, after a few days I started to like it. And believe or not, I get compliments. Someone even asked me who did my highlights. LOL!!! I did, for $3.

My mom bought this conditioner for me while I was at home. She saw a little thing about it on The View and figured we should give it a shot. Well I just tried it tonight because I ran out of my current conditioner. I was really pleased, made my hair feel all soft and slippery ... didn't smell half bad either. Great choice for the price if you ask me.
