how exciting! PaperMate comes out with a gel retractable pen. I got the set of 4 fun colors, and am very happy with them. Ergonomic design with a cushy grip, so that you don't get writer's cramp, and smooth ink that is not smudgy or wet at all.
Great gel pen from PaperMate.

picked this up during my last evacuation from the latest hurricane. definitely a good buy. easily portable, USB powered, and there is an optional plug for an additional a/c (?) adapter. comes with a handy backup program that works on both PC and MAC. Points for design b/c it is totally cute, and it comes with a plastic box that you can store it in and also the cord. ideal for packin up when i have to flee from another hurricane.

oh joy! the wonderfulness of a gel pen, with the option of erasing. while i love pens and writing, i am always making mistakes. this is not your typical erasable, there is a special thermo-fancy ink that completely rubs away by the friction of the special eraser-that-isn't-an -eraser . my only rub (har) is that the eraser tip is not at the end of the pen cap, which means that i can't write with the pen cap on the back of the pen. (yes i do that much erasing) and the ink is slightly more watery than gel-y, but the way it completely erases is amazing. there are links to youtube demos, and i was definitely sold. no eraser debris, nothing. definitely a testament to pen-technology.
