Cholula Hot Sauce
14 people recommended this item
Description
Cholula is a hot sauce you might find in the best Mexican restaurants and places that dont want to give off major gringo vibes with Tabasco (which has its place in your pantry).
Cholula is just right. She's no wimp but she's also not going to beat your tastebuds up and steal their lunch money. Lots of flavor and just enough spicy kick to bring boring food to life. Not vinegary like some cheap imitations. This spicy stuff gets its flavor from a blend of pequin peppers, red peppers and spices.
Cholula is made in Mexico (not New Mexico) by the same family for three generations. Look for the unusual wooden cap and the beautiful woman on the label.
There is another sauce called Tapatio - it has a man with a sombrero on the label. Some people liken the two but I feel Cholula is far superior.
On Cholula, one day I shall wed thee.

Kinder Chocolate

Description
Kinder Chocolate is a long-time European favorite, slowly making its way into the US though specialty food stores. Each package of this very basic, though delicious confection contains several smaller bars of white chocolate wrapped in delicate milk chocolate.
Kinder Chocolate is mostly known for its Kinder Surprise Eggs (egg shaped chocolate with toy surprise) and Kinder Bueno (hazelnut cream in a crisp shell covered by milk chocolate.
This treat will quickly melt in your hand - an indication of how delicious it is via the amount of fat it contains! While visiting Paris, I was told that many of the smaller (un-airconditioned) shops only carry Kinder Chocolate in the cooler times of the year.
Originally a German creation, Kinder Chocolate is now manufactured by Ferrero SpA

Lion Bar

Description
Everyone has a favorite candy bar (or dozen). For me, the Nestle Lion Bar takes the best aspects of every other candy bar I love and combines them into one crunchy, chewy, crispy, silky, carmely, nutty and chocolatey creation. Despite all these wonderful components, the bar is still light and delightful.
This is a Brit favourite but it can be found in many international supermarkets and tons of places online.
May contain nuts!
