How not to lose stuff - a list by Ranen
Options for This Page
About this list:
I am one of these people who is constantly looking for important stuff like you know, my other shoe or my keys. It seems like the more often I use something or the more vital it is, the more likely it is that I will be wasting a significant period of time wondering where it is, and by extension, why I can't ever keep track of any thing. Hopefully this stuff will help me and others like me (you know who you are).

Umbra Magnetter
First to recommend
Description
This keeps you from losing your bills AND your keys. It's magnetic, so you can practically just throw your key ring at it (instead of throwing it at the couch or the table and missing and losing it onto the floor). Also gives the illusion of invisible hooks, because invisible stuff is cool.

Sterling silver heart bookmark

Description
Don' t lose your place! If you read a lot like I do, these kind of bookmarks are great. They hook over the spine of your book, so you can put the book back on the shelf. That way, not only do you not lose your place, but you don't lose your bookmarks into the books, only to find them coincidentally later.

Open Here Bottle Opener

Description
I had one of these at my last place, and it was invaluable. Absolutely should be standard in every kitchen in America. Nothing migrates like a bottle opener, so save yourself a couple minutes of frustration when trying to open your favorite tasty beverage by just bolting this baby to your counter.

Knock Knock personal library kit

Description
Thing I hate: lending out books to people who don't read them. Thing I freaking despise: lending out books to people who don't read them and also don't return them RRRRR!! :P This kit will make sure that those slackers know they have your book, and you remember who you lent them out to. Also keeps your library in order. What a pro!

2009 CELTIC CALENDAR
First to recommend
Description
This is the calendar I had for 2008, and I liked it so much that I am going to buy the exact same one for 2009. Does that seem weird? I love it, though! It has the whole week at a glance, and it lays flat so you can write in it easily. The elastic band keeps your place, and it's pretty and green and lucky :)
