Mountainsmith Phoenix Backpack (Recycled) - Rock Creek Outfitters
First to recommend
Description
How cool is this? A recycled backpack! Mountainsmith has recently introduced a few different packs using recycled materials. To date this is the largest, and a great option for backpackers who want to keep the beautiful nature they love. (via Green products at Rock/Creek)

Chaco Sandals Z/1 Unaweep Performance Sandals
First to recommend
Description
Far and away my favorite sandals ever. I have them on even this moment, as I type. APMA certified soles give you all the support you need, and they'll keep your feet cool during the summer, which is why I love them so much. (via Chacos at Rock/Creek)

Arc'Teryx Quiver Pack
First to recommend
Description
I've admittedly never taken this into the backcountry, but I use it for a daypack and for my SLR camera. I've found that the camera, one other lens, a rain jacket, and a bit of food fit in there perfectly. There are two pockets, one on the outside that's the perfect size for film or your extra CF cards, and one large compartment for everything else. There's also room for a hydration bladder and a port for the hose. The 3-point design makes for quick access to your accessories without having to take the pack off. It's also waterproof and rather slick looking. (via Arc'Teryx at RockCreek)

Outdoor Research Backcountry Organizers
First to recommend
Description
I have the smallest one of these organizers from Outdoor Research, and I use it as my dopt kit when I go camping and travel. It has several compartments to keep things separate and organized. I usually have it packed pretty full, so the next size up might have been a better choice, but it works pretty well. (via Outdoor Research at RockCreek)

Eagle Creek Kids Travel Bankie

Description
I don't have kids, but if I did they'd have this travel pillow/blanket thing. I love the one with the airplane. (via RockCreek)

Stormtrooper mimobot USB Flash Drive
First to recommend
Description
I really wanted the Darth Vader drive, but sadly these are limited editions, so I didn't get it, and it's sold out "for good" but I'm really hoping for some kind of re-issue. You can still get this Storm Trooper, which is about the next best thing.
Perfect for taking your files on the road, plus you get a little fun. Adults need more toys, after all. (via Mark)

Patagonia MLC (Maximum Legal Carry-on) Bag
First to recommend
Description
I travel with this bag and my Timbuk2 messenger bag, and you can carry both on the plane, so you don't have to wait for baggage claim and there's no worry that your bags will get lost. There are great organizer pockets on the outside, where you can easily slip your boarding pass, a book, headphones and ipod, and whatever else you want to get to easily while waiting, boarding, and flying. Plenty of room for a weekend trip.
Also, there are hidden shoulder straps so you can wear it on your back if you need to, which I never thought I would until a recent trip to San Francisco had me huffing it quite a few blocks from my hotel to the BART station, and the over the shoulder loop wasn't quite cutting it. So, I decided to try the shoulder straps out and was pleasantly surprised. (via Patagonia at RockCreek.com)
