Featuring a ridiculous 10000:1 contrast ratio, it also sports 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port (for your computer). The only trade off is that its maximum resolution is 1080i and not 1080p.

JVC's been at the 1080p game for a few years while other manufacturers have just started releasing 1080p sets. JVC uses Genessa's 32-bit CPU video processing and Digital Image Scaling Technology to automatically upscale and sharpen all standard def content to near High Def quality. Basically all the non High Def channels, like your old reruns of Night Court, the Cosby's, Baywatch, etc. all look absolutely awesome on this set.

They've made sure to include all the necessary inputs:

2x HDMI
2x Firewire
7 additional inputs

to make sure you have all the attachments it needs. The only trade off on this tv is the horrendous contrast ratio at 1200:1. They could've done a little better than that.
