Although this site is showcasing several of the new mini laptops I prefer the Acer Aspire. It's hard drive is 160 GB which is as large as my desktop computer and the 1.6 ghz Intel Atom processor is actually faster than my desktop computer.

However, my biggest thrill is to see that the operating system on this baby is Windows XP. If you have played with any of the mini laptops that have Vista you'll notice that they are fairly slow and appear to be struggling when multi-tasking. However, with XP you don't have this issue.

The Acer Aspire One 8.9 mini laptop is fast, small in size, light in weight, yet powerful. Perfect for students and travelers alike.
