IKEA SONNE Storage unit on casters
First to recommend
Description
Mine sits in front of my couch, and is the hands-on storage unit I use every day. It is "bill paying central" and "office supplies central" and "my online used book business central." It is four-sided and is on castors; I can spin it to whichever side I need. One side has three drawers and two shelves. Another side is designed to hold file folders. Another has shelves, and the last one has a bar you can hang things off of.
Incredibly versatile, keeps the important stuff at hand, and can be rolled out of the way when you don't need it.

Purseket Purse And Tote Bag Organizer
First to recommend
Description
You know how a purse can become a black hole? And that thing you need, you know it's in there, but it must be buried. . . so you end up taking everything OUT of your purse and stacking it all there on the counter. . .
We've all been there, right?
Well these combat that. Not only do these little pouches keep things from getting buried, but if you have to take everything out, it all stays where it should.
They come in different sizes, so you can pick the one that best suits your level of junk

Google Notebook

Description
Google Notebook is a tool you can download from the internet to your computer. When you're on the internet, its icon sits at the bottom of your browser and you can open it up and use it whenver you want.
It's a way to store information, either from websites or just notes to yourself, when you're online. A way to keep track of things: images, ideas, quotes. . . you can make a note about whatever you want.
You can have numerous notebooks; for example, I use one for a to-do list, one to keep track of ideas for my blog, one for my geneology research, and so on. I use it every time I'm on the internet, and I don't know how I ever functioned without it.

Pill Case with Reminder Alarms
First to recommend
Description
Most of us with ADD take some sort of medication for it--and of course we have whatever other medicines we take for whatever reasons. Two problems with this, if you have ADD: remembering to take the pill, and remembering whether you took the pill. This one solves both of those problems. You do have to remember to set it up for the next day.
This one seems awfully big. I'd like to find something smaller that does the same thing. My current solution is a regular pill case combined with the alarm on my Palm Pilot. It works pretty well.

Sometimes the classics need a nod. This unit, designed by Dorothee Maurer-Becker, was great when it was introduced in 1969 and it's still great now.
As someone with Attention Deficit Disorder, I can especially appreciate any design that keeps things visible, organized and close at hand. I WILL own one of these some day.

Pendaflex Project Sorter
First to recommend
Description
We all know the "stacks of paper on the desk" system of organizing papers isn't good. Heaven knows we've been told often enough. Yet we persist. Why? Because those of us with ADD can get JUST A LITTLE stuck in our ways.
Here is a product that lets you keep those stacks organized. Each stack gets a tab, which keeps it separate from the other stacks, and each tab gets a label, so you can find things quickly.
I've just started using this at work. I have great expectations. I'll let you know.

Locker Pak Backpack

Description
Boy, would this have helped when I was in school! My backpack was a bottomless pit into which things would disappear forever. This looks especially well-designed so that items are organized and accessible--and visible, so you know where things are. It's a long time since I've carried a backpack (unless, well, backpacking), but I may need to get the adult-sized version for myself.

Description
These help me find the key I need quickly and easily. I recommend them for anyone who has a bunch of identical keys. These funky designer caps, discontinued by the Container Store, just turned up at spoonsisters.com. Yay! Regular ones are so bo-ring.

Pendaflex | PileSmart Label Clips
First to recommend
Description
This helps a lot in meetings, where I tend to become quickly disorganized with regard to my reference papers. I used to use a paper clip, but being able to label the clip is the difference between success and chaos. Also great for organizing those piles of papers on your desk.
