Christmas '08 - a list by bitchinmona

About this list:
This list will contain my wish list for this Christmas. It probably won't include a single item for which I have a genuine *need*, because as I am technically an adult, I have the ability to purchase items of necessity. No, these will be the awesome items I adore; things I want and which I'll likely not buy for myself but would nonetheless love madly!

Holy crapskates these are awesome!
I love, love, LOVE in-ear earphones. Most earphones fall right out of my ear, thanks in large part to my unusually-prominent fossa triangularis. [ http://tr.im/fossa_triangularis ].
This company not only has kickass sound quality, but durable, full-featured earphones that rest where I need them to rest.
The price on the manufacturer's website seems a bit daunting, admittedly, but my guess is that these marvels of modern technology can be found elsewhere for a bit of a bargain. ;)

Rainbow Flex USB Hub

Description
Truth be told, I have plenty of USB outlets at work. I have a dual display, and on each screen, there are FOUR ports. On the tower, there are 4 in back, 4 in front. So all-told, we're talking SIXTEEN usb ports into which I can jack my camera, iPod, iPhone, flash drive, or whatever other gadget I want to use.
The problem with all of those ports? They're a pain in the ass to get to. A USB hub will give me the ease of accessibility, and on an already-cluttered, space-is-at-a-premium-unleaded desk, this is a savior.

I have a large one of these that I received with training materials when I started working... someplace cool. I hadn't seen them anywhere else, but it wasn't long before I found a use for the big one: It's my travel toiletries kit. It zips on top, is easy to see what's in there, and it 'breathes' - so in the event that my toothbrush isn't entirely moisture-free when I stuff it in, there's not going to be a musty surprise when I next open the pouch.
At my current job, one of the guys has several of the small bags connected by a carabiner. He keeps a pen and notepad in one, his keys in another, his phone in another, and so on. Now. Without commenting on his 'not-a-manpurse' organization system, it got me to thinking about how I could use a similar system to organize my own bag. The problem? I had no idea where to find these outside of SoHo, NY.
Google to the rescue. I love MoMA anyway, but they win mad points for not only having these bags, but for offering them at a low price. Yay!

This book is the sequel to one I've read. The paperback isn't due out for several months, which may be just fine, actually, since it's tough to read on my commute during the New England winter months, considering it gets dark at, oh, 3PM!

Too cool for words.
Considering how frequently my photos show the unmistakable evidence of shake-n-take photography, this would be invaluable. Fortunately, at only $25, it's not unattainable! ;)

Sterling Silver & Freshwater Pearl!
I prefer the shiny surface (as opposed to the oxidized). As I am not a dainty, delicate little Asian Goddess, however, it is my hope that the chain is long enough for my neck (e.g. 18" or so) and sturdy enough to withstand my occasional overzealous strength issues.
