About this list:

I figure it's time to put as much thought into what I put on my skin as what I eat...plus the fewer chemicals the less irritation right?

Dr.Hauschka Pure Care Coverstick - Natural Mineral Makeup

First to recommend

Description

Ah the coverup, my uneven face's favorite friend. Some days I think I'm covered in more coverup than foundation! This coverstick has botanicals to minimize blemishes (yay!), and fight aging (double yay!). Plus it's organic, so maybe my coverup to foundation ration will get back to where it should be.

Mineral makeup is everywhere it seems. And with good reason! It really is kind of awesome. This organic compact is chock full of organic mineral goodness and fits in a purse. Totally awesome.

Dr. Hauschka Novum Bronzing Powder

First to recommend

Description

My skin is overloaded with red tones. So much so that I don't use blush for blush. I use bronzer instead and it works like a charm. I look sunkissed and not like a tomato at all.

Jurlique Lavender Silk Finishing Powder

First to recommend

Description

I have a tiny, itty bitty obsession with lavender. Since I have oily skin, I have a tendency to shine, a lot. This lavender silk finishing powder not only smells fantastic, it dials down the shin on my face. Now I just have to make sure I'm not constantly patting it on.

Dr. Hauschka Lipliner

First to recommend

Description

My least favorite part of putting on lipliner is hard edge of the pencil, this lipliner leads with rose wax and glides on softly. There aren't a lot of color choices, but when it comes down to it, you really only use a handful of colors anyway and one color lipliner can work for multiple lipsticks.

Novum Lipstick

First to recommend

Description

I think organic lipstick, more than anything else, really is the place that it counts to be organic. Think about it, you ingest things through your lips and mouth and so it would probably be best if we didn't eat chemicals all day long. I like the intense colors in this line, plus it's suppose to moisturize while you wear it!

Weleda Wild Rose Eye Cream

First to recommend

Description

There are days I love my genes (I love the color of my eyes) and there are days I don't (even after a restful night's sleep I have puffy dark circles under my eyes). I've tried so many under eye treatments. I haven't tried this one yet, but it has everything I think I might want (reduces puffy, reduces dark circles, organic) and something I didn't count on(anti-aging) .

Quease-ease Lip Balm

First to recommend

Description

I'm really enjoying the idea of this. Lip balm that soothes your stomach. If you are queasy you don't want to eat anything (like ginger), but you want it to go away. Delivering peppermint and ginger through the lips is a clever way around it. A perfect accessory for travel!

Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Clay Mask

First to recommend

Description

A clay mask that's supposed to help control oil and blemishes. Well, that sounds like something I want to get to know. This organic clay mask has every I think I could want and since it comes in powder form, I don't have to worry about it drying out or spilling everywhere (you should see the outsides of my mask jars...they are rather...messy).

Dr. Alkaitis Organic Flower Mask

First to recommend

Description

Just add water gets a whole new meaning when it comes to this mask which comes alive when you add water. It smells like a dream (reminding you of that spa facial it's been far too long since you've had) and leaves your face refreshed. I'd get it for the smell alone though.
