Raising Sand: Robert Plant and Alison Krauss

Description
A perfect Valetine pair - Robert Plant & Alison Krauss (and T-Bone Burnett's); "Raising Sand" is a beautiful collaboration from 2 of my favorite artists. If you like Blues, Rock, Pop, Americana, John Fogerty, Levon Helm, Mark Knopler or Springsteen you willno doubt like this record. Its up for a "Record of the Year" Grammy Nomination as well.
A gem of an album from two amazing singers with extremely rare gifts of vocal integrity. (via amazon)

Description
This is one of the albums I can't stop listening to. No, they're not some weird experimental progressive band, but I still have trouble tying to box them into a particular genre. So, I wont. I'll just say this, I really like 'em and it's a good album. A great album, really.

Introspective Raincoat Student Music: Sugarplum Fairies

Description
Not just one of the best album titles ever, but also really good (yes, a bit introspective, but in a cool way, not in a boring and too too raincoatish way) music. Listen to it. You won't want to slash your wrists or anybody else's wrists either, I promise.

Description
It always reminds me of a movie I made with Comfort Eagle as the closing song. Very cool.
