Description
An alternative to buying original paintings, these prints are offered in limited quantities and are individually signed by the artist Corno. Of course, the print medium is a lot more affordable, so it's great news for me who thought I could never possibly own a piece of Corno art! :)
UPDATE: I'm pleased to say that I just bought the print featured as the main image! I couldn't be happier and can't wait to have it framed! :)

Description
Dominik Sokolowski is a rising figure on the visual arts scene. Very prolific, he has a good number of solo exhibitions in Canada, and he is quickly generating an international buzz. I was lucky enough to buy 1 of his first paintings many years ago. The second one I bought from him (2 or 3 years ago) showed the new techniques and style he was experiencing with. Both my paintings have always been great conversation pieces! And I'm always proud to say: I went to University with this artist! Yeah-Huh! :)

I really like these sandals -- especially the shiny pink sole! :) Seems the ankle-wrap style is everywhere this year, but that's not to say that it will be around forever. Therefore, when I was told they were reduced to $30, the dilemma was a goner! They were coming home with me! :)

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer: The Twilight Saga - Book 4

Description
Although this was a good read, I was not captivated like I was by some of the other books of the Twilight Saga. However, isn't it wonderful to dream that unselfish love can conquer ALL?! I did enjoy the complex family / pack relationships and the intertwining of such deep acts of love and suspense.
After finishing all four books, I now find myself missing Edward and Bella and their wonderful extended families... To my utmost surprise, this Saga took me on a contemplative journey, and I will try to abide by the triggered motions acquired through these books, for a long time to come...

Eclipse comes a close second to Twilight imo. It offers the same excitement and suspense as Twilight, but more of the budding romance [that we all not-so-secretly crave] between Edward and Bella.

Description
I liked Twilight so much that I was afraid of being disappointed with the second book of this series. In some ways, I was, because I found the rhythm of the storyline too slow for my liking, but the last few chapters were truly exciting! I was reading in fast-forward at some point since I knew what was likely going to happen -- and I couldn't wait for that guilty pleasure! :)

Description
I was wondering what all the commotion was about when the movie was launched last Fall… A friend of mine recently bought the book and loved it so much that she loaned it to me! Well, what everybody is saying is true! This is one captivating, enticing and sensual (I’m almost sure teenagers are not getting all the subtleties found in the storyline) book… I also found myself wondering “what if THEY were out there…” :p I’m completely mesmerized by this tale. It may just end up being a book that I will read more than once!
