Dps Carbon Fiber Powder Skis

The Powder Road documents the dream of ski travel. It’s the story of a road trip from Colorado to Alaska in search of the best skiing on earth. In February of 2005, with rumors of a big winter in Alaska, four friends left Boulder, Colorado, driving pickup trucks towing four-stroke snowmobiles and skis. The caravan moved northward and stopped in classic ski towns like Aspen, Colorado, and Jackson, Wyoming, before crossing the American/Canadian border and into the beautiful ranges of British Colombia, the Yukon, and Alaska. In search of untouched mountains to ski while camping and traveling in a self-sufficient style, the four met an array of characters, adventures, setbacks, and mountains only rivaled by the imagination. The Powder Road documents their journey and a lifestyle centered around the search for deep snow. (via Philip Drake)

Marker Duke Binding
Smart Funny Useful (1)
Updated Oct 4, 2007
The Marker Duke is the binding that we have all been waiting for. It’s the first binding that combines the security and performance of an alpine race binding with the functionality of a touring binding. The Duke lets you do everything in a package that equates to freedom and high performance in the mountains. Unlike torsionally soft touring bindings that come with dead spots and huge stand heights, the Duke doesn’t detract from a ski’s intended design. It allows a DPS ski to perform at its designed level by transmitting energy directly to the ski. After testing last season in Alaska, we are trading in our race springs and endorsing the Duke as the alpine binding choice for any DPS shape. Combining the Duke with an advanced carbon ski gives you the highest performing and most versatile binding/ski combo on the planet. (via Stephan Drake)

dps lotus 120

Updated Oct 4, 2007
The Lotus 120 is for the best days. Access new levels of creativity and style; slash wave features, side-slide into airs, and generate power and style in big trips across the fall line. Unlike most powder skis that are simply wider versions of their conventional cousins, the Lotus120’s shaping is highly optimized for deep snow, while carbon makes 120mm surprisingly manageable and versatile across mixed snow conditions. Firmer snow and smaller mountains are part of the game. The Cassiar 80 fills out the narrowest end of your quiver as your dedicated frontside choice. It has the versatililty to rip crud, dice moguls, work the park, and do so with more power and edge grip than significantly narrower raceroom skis. (via Stephan Drake)
